“We come along every month for the Friday Playlist Run Club, and there is always such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Sian is fantastic at keeping everyone motivated and makes the run really enjoyable. The pub also reserves a table for us afterwards, which is a brilliant touch. It’s the perfect way to finish the evening with some great food and drinks. The service is always excellent, and the food is amazing. We always look forward to coming back!”

“Myself and my partner visited last night for a date night, after a lot of research! We were a little hesitant because of some recent negative reviews, but very pleased to say we’ve no idea where they came from - as we had an absolutely lovely time. The venue itself is absolutely stunning inside and out, the service was polite, friendly, and attentive. We felt looked after without it feeling obtrusive. There was a very mild hiccup with food temperature, which was immediately rectified perfectly with a smile - working in hospitality myself, any issues never bother me when it can be fixed so easily! Hann was our server, and she was so friendly and professional - she is a credit to The Swan Holme. We had calamari and soup to start - my partner loves calamari and the sauce that came with it was incredible! The soup was also amazing. We had the roasts for main and again, they were so good. We finished off with sticky toffee pudding and the sorbet - which we definitely didn’t have room for but ate anyway😁 and the sorbet - wow. The orange and coconut ones in particular, so incredible, I highly recommend! We came on a Sunday evening, but never felt rushed or hurried out. Don’t be put off by bad reviews - we don’t get out for date nights very much these days as money is tight, but this place is definitely worth it. We will be back !!! Thank you again to Hann & the rest of the team.”

“I booked a table in advance for two friends & myself. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I also had a voucher for my birthday, for a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, which a very kind lady sorted out for me. I had the Katsu chicken curry which was delicious! Followed by the Apple Tarte tatin with ice cream, which was also delicious! To drink I was recommended a passion fruit Mocktail, which went down a treat! Thank you ☺️ xx”
