About Nosey Parker
Nosey Parker is a pub on Crusader Rd in Lincoln, open daily and built around a chargrill menu. Dog owners get a dog-friendly area with a separate dog menu, so pets can be part of the meal out. Steaks and grills arrive on sizzling plates, the mixed grill comes in an XL size, and Sunday roast is served for the weekend. Weekday and special offers run on the menu. Orders can be placed at the bar or through the app, and the pub keeps a separate dining area for those who come to eat. Pool is available, and big TVs carry live sport from Sky Sports and TNT Sports, with a projector brought in for big matches.

Customer Review Summary
Sizzling grill plates draw the most praise, with diners describing a gammon steak on a sizzler with all the trimmings, a rare steak that arrived hot and well cooked, and mixed grills at a Sunday dinner for six. Friendly staff and good value on the special offers come close behind, and the onion rings and a mushroom bake also get a nod. The complaints are specific and recur. One diner's medium rare steak came out like old boot leather, and another found the chicken on an XL mixed grill cut in half. Boneless chicken wings were likened to pork scratchings, and the supreme sharer's tater tots, chicken pieces and battered halloumi all tasted of fryer oil to one reviewer. Several note slow or inattentive service, including a queue at the bar while staff wandered and incorrect food items brought out on a quiet Sunday. One reviewer calls Friday evenings very loud, and another reports a ladies' toilet out of order for weeks. One diner was still waiting on a requested steak knife when the meal ended.

“The boneless chicken wings looked like pork scratchings. Hmm nice! Perhaps it was busy yesterday and they had some leftovers 🤷♂️”

“We've been here plenty of times over the past few years and have always been greeted by friendly staff. There's free parking on site, but they now have an ANPR car park, so you need to enter your number plate. We always use the app to order food and drinks and find it very easy to use. One downside is that repairs and maintenance to the ladies' toilets should have been arranged more quickly, as one of the toilets was out of order for quite a few weeks.”

“Six of us went for a meal this evening (21/06/26) we pre-booked a table in the dog friendly area to avoid disappoint. I had the 7oz Gammon steak on a bed of onions, served on a sizzler with all the trimmings, it was delicious! & everyone else thoroughly enjoyed theirs too. Good value.”

“Visited late evening, unplanned visit so no booking but ample tables available and very accomodating. We took our seats and chose from the menu which was an easy decision due to special offers. I do not like to order on the app and believe that we should support staff and I prefer human interaction. I did have to queue at the bar to place my order despite it being quiet, but only one lady serving and taking orders despite 3/4 staff wandering around not really doing a huge amount which was disappointing. The lady on the bar was friendly and through so no complaints there! Food arrived within about 15 min’s, it was hot, well cooked (rare steak) and well portioned. The chips were a little disappointing but delicious onion rings. I did want to add garlic mushrooms however they had sold out of both those and prawns. We were not rushed and the manager? Thanked us upon leaving. Overall a positive experience but would like to see staff a little more attentive to customers rather than rely on app based ordering. Customer service is the difference between me choosing somewhere and recommending to others where to go.”

“We have always rated nosey parker and have never been dissapointed, but tonight our food was very bad and the service was non existant. Our food came, the girl never even said is there anything i can get you. I had to ask for a steak knife which i am still waiting for. We had to wait 5 mins for the lasagne, but they bought out all the other meals. My steak was supposed to be medium rare, but was more like a piece of old boot leather, my chips looked justblike they had been thrown on my plate, my husbands was supposed to be rare and was the same as mine. There was nobody around to tell. Not once did anybody come over and say is everything ok? It wasnt as if the place was busy. I am very dissapointed. There was 5 of us so we spent quite a bit of money there. We shall not be returning”
