  “Mezze Mangal has quickly become my favourite Turkish spot in Leicester. The food is always fresh, beautifully cooked, and absolutely packed with flavour . The chicken shish is incredibly tender, and the mixed platters are perfect for sharing – you get a great variety of meats, all grilled to perfection . The portion sizes are generous, and they often bring out complimentary baklava and Turkish tea at the end of your meal, which is a lovely touch . The staff are friendly and attentive, and they're happy to help if you're new to Turkish cuisine . The restaurant has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, and there's plenty of free parking outside . A couple of things to note: they don't take cards, so bring cash . Also, the menu prices on social media might be out of date, so expect to pay a little more . But honestly, the quality is worth it. Highly recommended.”

  “10000/10 best Turkish in Leicester. I recommend the olives, Lamb kofte and chicken shish meals but everything is delicious. BYOB but also try the homemade lemonade”

  “Terrible experience. Completely unprofessional. I ordered food and was asked if it was takeaway or eat in. I clearly said eat in. The restaurant was completely empty. When I went to sit down, a staff member told me to sit somewhere else because I was “only one person.” That alone was rude and unnecessary. When I pointed out another table, she suddenly said, “OK, OK, sit wherever you want.” Very poor attitude and no consistency. Then, after the order, I was told the price was wrong and that eating in costs £4 extra as a service charge. This was never mentioned before ordering. Adding extra charges after the fact is unacceptable and misleading. Because of this, I cancelled the order and left. Bad communication, bad service, and a complete lack of professionalism. I will not return and do not recommend this place at all.”

  “Nice little place and good service. But the food is veryyyy average, hardly any flavour, the rice is plain hardly any meat. Expensive for what it is. I bought the jumbo platter and honestly felt like I paid £80 for wings. Will definitely not be returning or recommending.”

  “Me and my partner have passed this place a few times over the past few months and we finally got chance to give it a try. It was lovely the staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We had x2 combos which came with rice and salad, we ordered a portion of chips and they give you bread at the start with dips which was delicious. The mains were very tasty. We were both full up but the waitress brought out some turkish baklava and wow it was the nicest one ive tried and so fresh. Id highly recommend this restaurant as we have tried others, this was at the top. They do a good selection of non alcoholic drinks but you are allowed to bring in your own beer or wine.”

  “Visited this place during a Friday night with friends. We ordered a big platter which had a variety of meats. The food was absolutely amazing!!! So Delicious and full of flavour. This is my favourite turkish restaurant as the standards never drop and consistency is always there 👌”

  “Food was brilliant! Didn't like my starter, not sure of the name but it was NOT to my liking. The Kofte was incredible though and the staff VERY nice! I left my wallet at home and the manager was cool with me dipping out to go get it! 10/10 will eat here again!”
