  “Chips tasted like they had been cooked in cold oil, so soggy and greasy. Battered sausage the same very undercooked batter and dripping in grease. Sfc was nice and moist but the rest was fit for the bin. Such a shame a once great chippy is so poor now .”

  “I asked for a small chips and young lad gave me all the old hard chips and he must if gave me about 4 portions if hsrd chips. As he was serving my chips i made a comment about slowdown son i said! Unpleasant chips!”

  “12th June 26 Just purchased a chicken kebab from bucks got home which is just two minutes away by car was cold so warmed a little in microwave started to eat and then decided that this did not taste great and of poor Quality so decided to put in food waste. Bad waste value waste of hard earned money won’t be having again”

  “I av had food from bucks many times over the years but today was the worst iv had the mini fish used to hang over the ends of the tray but now it's lost in the tray and the chips had seen better days horrible taste will not be going there again”

  “Do not touch with a barge pole Seriously chips were hard Cornish pasty was filled with what i can only describe as mush And when i ordered the battered sausage they said I'd get another free, guess what i didn't get another one free.”

  “I wouldn't know about the atmosphere because ive never been here in person. This place was a fish and chips paradise to me, my first order had a note..."lots and lots of salt and even more vinegar, on the fish and chips plus some chilli powder. Food came and it was brilliant and tasted brilliant, first time id thought that what id asked for was given :))) Second time id ordered the same way...but it tasted like the whole bag of salt was dropped on it. Everything was ruined. Id stopped my family from touching any of it. Don't know what went wrong to be honest....sometimes it's best to visit a mediocre chip shop than what's supposed to be good. I'm disappointed and my Friday and fam are too. Thumbs down”

  “This is definitely up there as one of the best chip shops in Leicestershire, It's on a level with Grimsby fisheries. The chips are crisp and tasty and the curry sauce is delicious! The only negative is that they do not have chicken shish kebabs which are my go to, only the elephant legs but the peri peri was a nice option, Very very clean and the staff are really friendly and pleasant,”

  “Nearly £6 for two of these!!!! Absolutely scandalous!!!! The two portions together wouldn’t even equal one portion, don’t think there was even a cone full of chips and I was charged £1.70 for each, absolute madness! Will definitely not be buying from here again, the guy that served me also looked something the cat dragged in and then dragged back out again, using his scummy hand to scoop the 12 chips served up into the tray as well! Definitely avoid if you are older than 6 years old!!!”
