  “I went there with my husband because we wanted to try some Greek food, but honestly it was such a disappointment. We spent £24 and the portion sizes were unbelievably small. We were told the food would take 5–10 minutes, but it actually arrived after nearly half an hour — and when it finally came, it was ice cold. The portions were tiny and definitely not worth the price. I’m genuinely shocked by how many high ratings this place has because our experience was awful. It honestly made us feel like the reviews might not even be real. We even drove half an hour to try this place and completely regretted it. Really disappointed.”

  “Gyro Express delivers a genuinely fresh and satisfying Greek street food experience. I ordered the pork/chicken kalamaki wrap with salad and the charcoal-grilled kalamaki meal with rice and salad—both were cooked to order and full of flavour. The seasoning is mild but well-balanced, letting the freshness of the ingredients stand out, and the yoghurt sauce was particularly excellent. The restaurant itself is impressively clean, with a 5 hygiene rating, and offers plenty of seating. It’s a comfortable spot year-round—cosy indoors during winter and ideal for outdoor dining in summer. A solid choice for fresh, well-prepared Greek food.”

  “Ordered take out from here the other day! Very lovely Chicken Gyro! I will 100% come in person oneday soon so I can try some more of there great food and to get a chance to pratice my Greek, as I asked in the app for advice on meeting local Greeks and a hand writen note was inccluded in my order stating to come and vist :) :) Hope to see you all soon! 🇬🇷💙🤍 EDIT: Finally found time to come in person. LOVED IT! Great staff great food and got to pratices my Greek! Will 100% be back!”

  “The food is okay, but how long can you wait for your meal when there’s almost no one in the place? The staff said the wait would be 10 minutes, but in reality it was almost half an hour. On top of that, people who arrived much later got their orders first. Maybe delivery is a better option.”

  “My impression of the place is that is tries to simulate genuine Greek restaurant but it comes close. Not bad by any stretch but for somebody that regularly comes to the original Greek restaurants regularly you can see the difference. For the chicken gyros I took pita bread was very nice, chicken was ok and fries were just ok because they weren't bad but not the Greek style. Tzatziki was only acceptable as well. Like I said. Do not expect genuine Greek food and you should be satisfied. It comes surprisingly close but I could feel Kurdish ownership. Not confirmed but there were signs for me...”

  “Fancied a Greek takeaway and came across Gyro Express. Ordered a Chicken gyro and a Kalamaki meal. The food was OK in my opinion and the portions were smaller than expected. The restaurant looked nice and clean, which was a real plus point. Overall, check it out and dine in as the food will be freshly prepared.”

  “Oh,what's not to love about a Gyro! Popped in and ordered a couple of mixed Gyros. Friendly staff,clean and bright restaurant with outside eating areas, Busy, which is always a good sign. A good menu,and fair price's. Food was served quickly, tasted absolutely great. Its a thumbs-up from me.”
