  “We made a reservation through Google for 7:00 pm on Tuesday and specifically requested a window table upstairs. Unfortunately, we were assigned a table by the entrance on the ground floor instead. We chose to sit outside instead. We weren’t aware that the upstairs dining area was closed, and when we asked when it would reopen, no one was able to give us a clear answer. That was the only disappointing part of our visit. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. I’ve added photos of the receipt and the current menu, which may be helpful for anyone planning to visit. There were three of us. For our main courses, we ordered the salmon, chicken, and Lamb Kofta. It had been a long time since I had enjoyed a restaurant meal this much. Both the presentation and the flavours were outstanding. To start, we ordered the Hummus, Watermelon & Feta Salad, and King Prawn Pil Pil. All three were delicious and are easy recommendations. We also tried dessert. The only thing I didn’t particularly enjoy was the vanilla ice cream, as it had an unusual flavour, but everything else was excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and would happily recommend The Frame to anyone looking for a great meal in Leicester.”

  “I’d had my eye on The Frame for a while and ended up making a last-minute booking over the weekend. My review is a little conflicting because, when you first walk in, the ambience is incredible — very moody, aesthetically pleasing, and overall such a beautiful venue. The staff were also wonderful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The drinks were absolutely fire. The espresso martini was amazing — and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t even like coffee. The spicy margarita was easily one of the best I’ve had. As for the food, visually it looked incredible. However, a few of the dishes arrived cold. I did raise this with our server, as the fish was cold while the steak was extremely hot. Unfortunately, since visiting on Saturday, I’ve become severely unwell with what appears to be food poisoning. This is the first time I’ve ever experienced food poisoning from a restaurant, so I definitely don’t say this lightly. I would still 1,000,000% recommend this venue for drinks because the atmosphere really is a vibe, and I understand my experience may not reflect everyone else’s. Still, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed.”

  “Great experience for both my husband and I. The food was delicious. We both had main course only. It would be advantageous for the restaurant to add ice cream to the menu. I do not eat pastry so we went to the nearest patisserie for a dessert. Otherwise we would have had our dessert at the restaurant.”

  “Very beautiful establishment, modern design, ambience is very lovely. All members of staff were super friendly yet non invasive. Drinks were amazing, tasted so good and fresh, so many options aswell. Perfect for summerThe only point of improvement would be organisation. In as much as they were lovely they seemed a little new/ confused. Ordered 2 cocktails and they came one by one 2 minutes apart. It’s not murder, but surely, just bring them together lol. Again with the food: brought side of fries while steak was still being prepared in the kitchen😂😂.No hate tho, absolutely love this place. As a restaurant manager myself the only thing needed is a little organisation/ steps of service. 8/10 overall, coming back asap!!!”

  “My absolute favourite spot for catching up with friends or for date nights in Leics! The food is always delicious and the atmosphere always a vibe. Have been for lunch, bottomless brunch, dinner, private events and as part of Leics Restaurant Week and it never disappoints. Highly recommend. P.s. the corn ribs are my favourite!”

  “We were served by Anton and LeBron. The experience was exceptional. They were so friendly and attentive. It’s a beautiful place to sit and have dinner too, especially as the sun is setting. The food was amazing. We literally could not fault it. The meats and the rice were cooked so well. My partner had the Mac ‘n Cheese and could not stop raving about it. We don’t drink so we had the mocktails but they were also lovely. Overall, 10/10 experience and would recommend to a friend.”

  “Overall it is a great restaurant with great food quality & taste and excellent customer service. The Salmon was excellent. It tasted amazing with the potatoes and brocoli. The Chocolate and Truffle Torte tasted great, it had a nice and thick chocolate texture. The only thing I didn't like was the sauce underneath it.”

  “Amazing experience recently visited for a family dinner. The service, speed and care all top notch for us. Delroy, Grace and Bernado were all amazing throughout. Not one complaint from me and Bernado helped us choose a few plates that we really enjoyed. First time in many trips to restaurants I’d say you’d be satisfied on starters and plates alone. Recommend the whipped feta, Muhammara, mozzarella arancini and padron peppers were excellent too for me. Well worth getting a trio of mezes and the mocktails are good too. Halal friendly also. Will be visiting again for sure”

  “I had to go and shake the hand of the chef, here. We really, really enjoyed the food. The carrots were sumptuous - Soft, yet crunchy, and very well seasoned. The Cod was perfectly cooked, the prawns had a punch, and even the fries were crispy! Highly recommend you try this place, and i think I'll be making another visit for certain as there's still plenty I haven't tried!”
