  “This is a review for the rooms. We stayed in one the spacious double rooms and were really pleasantly surprised at how lovely our room was. It was all spic and span and we loved the decor and homely touches. Thank you for making us so welcome.”

  “Overnight stay in the oak. Highly recommend the rooms, high quality and comfy night sleep. Steve and staff very friendly and a nice atmosphere in the pub aswell. Definitely will be back thanks.”

  “Stayed over night from Edinburgh. The service and specifically Steve is excellent...great landlord 10/10 The rooms are beautiful, very clean and very comfortable bed. Recommend staying here if in area. Recommend area and places to eat. Outstanding stay. Can't rate food and went for an amazing Indian accross the road. Thank you Steve. Lisa & Valentino”

  “Stayed in the pub's accomodation and have to say it was perfection everything in the room was beautiful, lovely shower, great tea and coffee facilities, comfy bed. The owner was a pleasure to speak to and made sure everything was in place to make our stay the best experience would definately book again.”

  “The Pub its self is gorgeous with a traditional interior. The rooms should you want to stay the night are modern, comfortable and perfectly kept. The staff are amazing and incredibly considerate. I honestly couldn't recommend it more. Far better than any chain hotel by miles at a very reasonable cost.”

  “We booked 3x rooms this weekend for a surprise 80th birthday party with family and friends and we loved our stay here. The rooms are spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was huge with soft towels which was a bonus. We made use of the fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, with fresh milk supplied too. The Manager couldn't do enough for us. A great find and visit.”
