About Bundobust
Bundobust is an Indian street food restaurant at 6 Mill Hill in Leeds, serving an entirely vegetarian menu since 2014. It runs its own Bundobust Brewery, and the drinks list pairs home-brewed beer with a craft beer selection, a stout and kitchen-led cocktails. On the food side, the Paneer Dopiaza curry sits alongside sliders, including the Vada Pav Slider and the Bhaji butty. Long communal benches run through the dining room, which gives groups space to share plates across one table. Bundobust operates across 4 sites in 3 cities.

Customer Review Summary
Manchurian Wings draw the most repeated praise, with reviewers calling the dipping sauce perfect and the wings divine. Close behind is the Paneer Dopiaza, and the Mushroom Kebab, Masala Corn Ribs, Gunpowder potatoes with yoghurt, okra fries and the Vada Pav and Bhaji butty sliders are also singled out. Several note the menu is entirely vegetarian, and one meat eater says the flavours left no disappointment. Reviewers describe food that is great for sharing, in substantial portions, with friendly staff and a home-brewed beer and craft selection to match. The drawbacks are the loud music, which makes guests speak louder even though the playlist itself earns praise, and long communal benches that one reviewer says are not for plush lounging. One suggests booking because it was busy, while another walked in with colleagues and was seated easily. One diner who had been seated in the lower area by the door four visits running wished for the benches or outside seating.

“Food was really yummilious. Portion size was good. Staff was friendly. Service was good. Only 1 thing that too much noise due to loud music which made guests to speak louder make overall environment noisy but I must say music selection was awsome 😀 I am glad that my colleague took me to Bandobust after work to have a meal and chit chat.”

“A top-tier spot for Indian vegetarian street food! If you're looking for fantastic Indian vegetarian food, Bundobust should easily be at the top of your list—especially for lunch, where they offer a great selection. Just a heads-up for meat lovers: the menu is entirely vegetarian, so keep that in mind! We dropped in with some office colleagues without booking in advance and were seated easily. The setup is mostly long communal bench seating, so while it might not be the place for plush, super-comfy lounging, it’s vibrant, fun, and perfect for group lunches. Highly recommended for great flavors and quick bites!”

“Finally got the chance to visit Bundobust after wanting to go for a long time, and it exceeded all expectations! From the very first bite, everything was packed with flavour. The Manchurian Wings, Masala Corn Ribs, Vada Pav Slider, and Paneer Do Pyaza were all outstanding, and the home-brewed beer was the perfect accompaniment. The lively ambience, friendly vibe, and genuinely polite and attentive staff made the experience even better. What makes it even more impressive is that all this incredible food is vegetarian. A place that truly lives up to the hype. Already looking forward to my next visit—highly recommended!”

“We have been visiting this Leeds restaurant since it opened it doors. Consistently wonderful. The new menu is a delight, plenty to explore with the comfort of knowing your favourite best sellers are still on the menu. It’s casual dining, great for sharing with friends. Brilliant service. All set to the backdrop of some amazing tunes. Oh and the beer & drinks selection are the best in the city. Highly recommend and deserve every ⭐ I’ve given to them.”
