  “The food and overall service were good, and most of the staff were polite, calm, and respectful. However, one new staff member named Simaran, who wears a head covering, was very rude and treated customers poorly. During my visit, I noticed that she behaved the same way toward several other customers as well. I was at the restaurant for about half an hour, and her attitude negatively affected the overall experience. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure all customers are treated respectfully.”

  “It was my first and last ever visit to this place, been there to eat samosas which were average no great taste. Next thing surprised me alot which i ordered Dahi Ballai and it was only included Dahi and Ballai , no potato or anything else . Moreover, Ballai tastes like they are not freshly made. It was purely waste of money, not recommended.”

  “Harehills shop is compact and clean. Licated on busy main street, parking is easy to find in one of many small streets leading to neighbourhood area. Ordered masala dosa and chai to have in-store, with Bendi Aloo,paneer paratha and garlic naan rakeaway. Dosa and chai in store were lovely. Space was clean and efficient. 2 issues experienced : door to store not closed or heavy enough. With kept blowing and door would open, cold air blow in(not nice) Takeaway food: bendi aloo VERY oily. Takeaway container SATURATED with oil. Very unnecessary amount of oil. Please feedback to restaurant so less oil in cooking. My partner couldn't eat the dish because of this :( Overall, as a South Indian, Anand Sweets tastes like authentic Indianveg food. Could improve state of venue with better door( maybe seal better or put heavy decor on door) so its not easily pushed by wind. And less oil in food would be great”

  “We visited this place in Watford, United Kingdom a week ago for evening snacks and Tea. We had Bhelpuri, Samosa, GulabJamun and Chai. Bhelpuri was crunchy and tasty and Kala Gulabjamun was fresh and delicious. Samosa was hot but just Ok. Chai was much in quantity and served in a large glass mug and was just average but much welcoming for the cold. The place is small, cozy and easily accessible as it's located on the main road. Interiors are clean well maintained. Prices are very reasonable.”

  “I absolutely love the mango lassi. I have it regularly, and it’s always so fresh, yummy, and perfectly made. Highly recommend everyone to give it a try — you won’t be disappointed! A special thanks to Dev, who makes it every time with such consistency and care.Truly appreciate his service!”

  “This is today's review: Anands has changed to new ownership and I must say not impressed as I got smaller portion of channa bhatora in a small thali (see image). I mentioned to my wife it's no way as busy as it was few year back. The channay daal was not as tasty neither. This review was 3 years back : Nice food and decor. Paneer parontha was oily, felt as though my arteries were getting clogged up 😂. Overall nice experience.”

  “Heard this place is very good so came for a bite to eat, first visit. Food is vegetarian, or at least the ones we had. We went for a mixture of their pakoras and two bowls of their "curry" (more like a sweet and sour dish) but they were all gorgeous. The pakoras were really good, the "curries" had alot of kick to them but were very tasty. Service was very friendly and helpful. Prices were exceptionally reasonable. Definitely a good place to try.”

  “The food tastes great but the prices are ever increasing slightly multiple times a year. There is a great selection and the customer facing premises look clean. The staff aren’t over friendly or anything special, no music or chit chat for ambience. Staff don’t engage in friendly conversation otherwise it would be more pleasant with the wait inside the shop with clothes smelling of oil. Air conditioning isn’t so evident to flow properly. Hope the prices whilst currently ok don’t become too steep to stop my custom.”

  “The place was very clean and welcoming. Well lit and and has pleasant smell of good food cooking and not like a stinky food factory like a few I've visited! Good things take time and that is something you'll need to consider while going here. I'll leave the reasons for the delayed service to the owners but the food makes it all worth while. Probably not an ideal place if you are in hurry. Tried a few snacks Chana Masala + Bhatura was lipsmacking good. Less oil in bhaturas and tasty chana masala ( wasn't spicy, which is a good thing because many just consider spicy = tasty ) Dhokla: 1 plate gets you 2 pieces but they were fresh. The chutney was okay not that great. Samosa: Was alright too nothing too special. Seemed to be fried in fresh oil. DahiWada: Well this was a disappointing one. The wada was weirdly soggy and the sour chutney on the dahi messedup the taste. The curd wasn't best either. GulabJamun with IceCream: I feel, is a must have. Gulab Jamun was nice hot paired with cream. Just amazing! The people serving were very courteous but looked over worked. Handled everything well. To summarize, will surely visit again may be to try some other dishes. If you plan then make sure you've got enough time at hand and avoid peak hours like lunch.”
