  “Went Shahjhan to get chicken and chips, chips were average, but the chicken was disgusting, looks like they don’t even clean they chicken properly, never going back here again. After going here for the last 10 years this place has just been getting worse each time. I prefer it when the other partner used to be here proper food! Good service and never any complaints. Avoid this place. There’s better chicken and chips out there and more flavoursome than this place, also donner I’ve got a few times has been disgusting too. Foul taste and smell has been terrible. May Allah swt guide these people to make food for what they would eat themselves and give the same quality food to others.”

  “honestly great food the guy was also very nice he left me of 1 pound since i had 3.50 and it was 4.50 for 2 pieces of chicken and chips the food was quick not oily and really fresh and i mean it !!”

  “I came here at a not so busy time. Phoned before hand asking for fresh chicken ahead of time as it is a big order we were going to make. Was promised fresh chicken, fresh fries everything. Despite ordering a hour in advance, food was cold, chicken felt like it was out all day and not to the expectations of a party either. The chicken was rubbery and inedible from certain places which put us off the food and despite us telling them about the sauces. They started charging us more for sauces despite there wasn’t any in there”

  “I came on Thursday 9th October ordered a medium donner meat n chips, they gave me a small portion I came again on Friday 10th October, I told the guy at the counter I came yesterday and u gave me a small portion then I ordered a large dinner meat and chips they gave me 7 strips of donner When I rang them up the person on the fone was rude he didn’t even care … Horrible cold food small portions bad service”

  “I ordered family box of chicken chips 6pc of chicken I asked for leg pieces the guy who served me said I can give you 3 leg pieces and 3 breast I said ok because I understand there will be more people want leg pieces but he put breast pieces in the box when I got home I saw it my kids didn’t eat it very disappointed I will never ever go again it was not the first time”

  “Always used to buy from here as their chicken batter was.the best. But never again. Last time I got it I realised that the hair is still on the skin!!!! I let them off as thought maybe it was a one time thing. Today same thing! They do not clean their chicken. Never again.”

  “Ordered a chicken burger and a cheese burger then I saw the chicken just came out fresh so ordered 2 piece of chicken only to get home and he had given me old oil filled chicken pieces when I even asked for the fresh one. The chicken burger was hard. The cheeseburger was OK. They don't do mayonnaise which is a disappointment too. Overall a very bad experience and I've been eating food from here for years. They have gone downhill drastically. This is the 3rd time I've had a bad experience with shahjahan. Do not recommend to anyone anymore. 👎”

  “An option to go to, on a late night when most places are shut. Chips were below par, the fried chicken was good and the chicken fillet burger was okay. The mint sauce was the highlight. The problem with this place, if you’re on foot and don’t have cash, they don’t take card. They charge 50p for a mayonnaise or chili sauce tub which is ridiculous. Beyond this, they reject putting sauces on your food which is standard for any take away. EDIT*** Revisited here, what a let down. The mint sauce was watered down and the chicken and chips that’s usually good was definitely no where near to a decent standard. I’ll avoid for a while, I can only presume this is either due to change of staff or an off day? Nevertheless, not for me. 👎”
