“The Briggate is a very large Wetherspoons. There is a large range of bottled and draught beers lager and cider including six handpulled cask conditioned real ales when we visited. The service was very quick despite it being a busy saturday evening. There are TVs showing Sports and a nice beer garden to the side of the pub and outside seating at the front. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, it's a great pub we will visit again.”

Both are excellent, with decent portions at a good price.The miners benedict is also very nice.The service is quick, so no waiting. Definitely one of our favourite places for breakfast.”
