About Crowd of Favours
Crowd of Favours is a pub on Harper St in Leeds, with a downstairs basement that has a small stage for cinema and comedy nights and can be booked out. Upstairs, the kitchen mixes British and Modern European dishes, and live music is part of the programme. The Sunday roast comes with beef, roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding, veg and gravy, and an extra jug of gravy is available on request. Cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets and stuffing are among the sides. At the bar, real ales and cask and craft beers are on tap alongside non-alcoholic options, and the Guinness is poured as an Aero pour. A quiz night and board games fill out the week. Dogs are welcome, and a pub dog is on the premises.

Customer Review Summary
Sunday roast is what most reviewers come for, with beef the usual order, piled-high plates, homemade Yorkshire pudding and well-seasoned veg. Cauliflower cheese gets repeated praise, one reviewer calls it a meal in itself, and others single out the mash and the stuffing. Close behind are the drinks: real ales, cask and craft beers, a stout offered in place of Guinness, and aero Guinness, with pork scratchings as a side. A hand-cut chip and a burger cooked spot on also get named. Reviewers mention friendly service, a greeting dog, board games, a downstairs area for cinema and comedy, and a student discount. The caveat comes from one roast diner, who found the beef pink but chewy and sinewy and the mash bland and dry, though the staff brought an extra jug of gravy when asked. One reviewer notes the outdoor seating is limited. Another had a quiz night table booked for the following bank holiday Monday.

“Visited for the first time today Everything was perfect and in order. The attention to detail in here is fantastic. Roast is incredible value and worth coming here for the stuffing alone”

“Found this place by accident on the way to Leeds bus station and I’m glad I did. Crowd Of Flavours was a great little find. Had the burger and it was really good — just enough on it without being overwhelming. Very tasty and cooked spot on. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area. Great choice on the menu and pleasant staff and the place gives off a good vibe!”

“We booked here for the Sunday roast dinner on Easter Sunday afternoon, having only ever been to this pub for drinks previously. The Sunday dinner was amazing, we both got the beef & the meat was quality cuts, with good helpings of roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding & veg & tasty gravy. We also ordered the 3 sides for £12, so had pigs in blankets, stuffing, & cheesy leaks. There was so much food, we were happily full afterwards. Couldn't fault the service either, service with a smile from the girl behind the bar & the guy that brought us our food. Excellent value for money as well, only £48 for the two of us (including soft drinks). Enjoyed it so much we have booked a table for the quiz night on next bank holiday Monday when we'll most likely have something smaller to eat from the many choices on the menu & turn it into a bit of a drinking evening with friends. Great atmosphere in a pub that we look forward to visiting again soon. Highly recommended & so glad the Sunday roast was top notch as we went for Sunday dinner the previous weekend to Whitelocks in town & that was very disappointing. Thanks to the Crowd of Favours team for making our Easter Sunday that little bit more special & saving us cooking.”

“Lovely pub. Food was delicious. Nice outdoor seating although not much of it. Good cask and craft beers. Reasonably priced as well as having a student discount. Downstairs area available to book out.”

“Amazing food and cosy atmosphere, staff were friendly and service was great. I came for a Sunday lunch but there are also board games and plenty of other menu options. Great if you love dogs too!”
