  “Has to be one of the best breakfasts I have ever had while dining out. The bacon alone would bring me back. A full breakfast with an extra poached egg to smother the sourdough toast was delicious. Not greasy in any way, just very good ingredients, cooked very well and served with a smile. This will be our go too whenever we are in Hull or it's surrounding area on a Sunday morning. Thanks for the service. It was appreciated.”

  “Stopped here for a flat white, orange juice and eggs royale. Had to wait a little while for a seat as it was busy but I was well looked after. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. I'll be back for sure!”

  “Good location, lovely vibe but quality was inconsistent. Out of the group, my chicken and bacon waffles were burnt, but the others food was great which makes this difficult to recommend.”

  “Had a lovely lunch at Thieving Harry's with my daughter. The Chorizo Hash was awesome! We also had a BLT which was good as well. A quirky little place with great views if you go upstairs. It's dog friendly too. We make friends with a bulldog that day :) The staff were lovely and very helpful. We are defo going back....may even take the Mrs and have some drinks next time!”

  “We have eaten here quite a few times and must say this is one of our favourite breakfast places. We had tried different dishes and have always found them satisfactory. However, I’ve found their hot drinks to be lukewarm, and not particularly hot. I prefer my hot drinks to be hot! When I’ve raised this with the staff, they have ensured my drinks are served hot. Food is absolutely scrumptious! There are so many different types of dishes on the menu and there’s something for everyone. The restaurant interiors are very lively and quirky. The ambience, the vibes and atmosphere completely match up to the restaurant’s character! It is set in a beautiful location, facing the marina! We love to sit upstairs and a table by the windows are always a bonus! It’s a family-friendly and pet-friendly place. Overall, it’s just got this lovely, jolly vibe! It is one of the most popular places to eat at the marina and so please expect to queue at peak/busy hours/weekends. We have walked in and got a table without waiting when we went there recently one weekend around 10:45am. However, there was a long queue when we had finished and were leaving around 12pm! Hopefully, this gives you an idea about their busy times, but please bear in mind these can obviously vary and can depend on many factors! If you are a local/tourist/visitor, we would strongly recommend this place!”

  “The looks of this lovely diner was the reason we tried it for the first time, certainly the most appealing in this lovely part of Hull. We sat at a seat outside and from start to finish, the service from every member of staff who looked after us was amazing. I ordered Eggs Royale with Black Pudding and my partner, she ordered Hot & Spicy Mushroom. We also had 2 lovely coffee’s and a Rhubarb cold drink. The food was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was without doubt the most amazing ever. Absolutely a pleasure to have dined here, definitely will return.”

  “What a gem of a place. We were there Saturday morning and it was humming but they found us a great spot by the window. Very friendly staff and cool vibe. The food was excellent, if I was nitpicking I would mention that it took a while to come out so if you are in a rush keep that in mind. We, however, were not in a rush so it didn’t affect our enjoyment at all. The veggie full English had loads of great twists on a classic and the steak and eggs was a huge hearty meal, both excellent value. Thanks Thieving Harry’s team!”

  “Hip- but actually good!! A cool looking local place that ACTUALLY delivers. The food is good ( I didn't have to smash my sour dough with lump hammer🤣) The staff were friendly and attentive (not too busy having banter with each other🤦‍♂️) and just a really nice atmosphere of mixed local people and visitors. Reasonably priced also! 😊😊”

  “Superb place with a quirky interior and excellent location situated on the marina. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast offer was good and our choice of avocado toast and a breakfast sarnie was very tasty. Definitely recommend.”
