Customer Review Summary
Most reviewers return for the large breakfast, and one describes the Lincolnshire sausages served with it as thick, succulent, juicy and full of flavour. Another lists a full plate of eggs, bacon, sausage, hash brown, black pudding, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes and toast with a refillable tea or coffee, and another calls the large breakfast a fantastic portion. Close behind are the sandwiches, including breakfast sandwiches made exactly as ordered and a sausage batch to go, plus a lasagna called tasty and plentiful and a daily special of sausages and veg in a giant Yorkie pud. Staff are repeatedly called friendly and polite, and prices are described as fair and cheap. One parent says staff interacted with her daughter after other cafes turned her away over baby changing. Complaints are few: one reviewer finds the tea and coffee cups small, another found it shut at 6am with no lights on, and one says delivery drivers spilled hot drinks and the cafe got blamed. A reviewer who stopped in after a long nightshift calls the food hearty.

“These are very polite people and their meals are very lovely.. Don't appreciate just eat drivers though spilling the hot drinks and then blaming the cafe for it. Some drivers are also impatient ringing doorbell and then knocking 4 seconds later (have bad hip so can't walk that fast, only took me about 30 or 45 seconds to open then door as it really close to living room. Their sandwiches and hot meals are really nice and love them, even my mum loves them, and staff are very polite and kind and helpful. Thank you to cafe and staff. I do wish they offered cold cans with the meals offers, as their same price (as maybe not everyone likes tea/coffee - but mainly because just eat spill them and have nerve to blame the cafe) Justeat are also joke as they refused to refund on hot drinks been spilled by their drivers. They need to get better drivers and patient ones who don't rush and then blame cafés for their spillages.”

“Now under new management, this little cafe is close to where I live so I am glad that it has been taken over and hopefully begin to thrive. Been in there a couple times now...tried one of their daily specials (Sausages and veg in a giant Yorkie Pud), but the main reason for my visits is obviously the Brekkies. The large brekkie is a reasonable price and I would stay standard fare...however the Lincolnshire sausages they serve with it is really good. Thick, succulent, juicy and full of flavour they are the star of their Breakfast offerings. Whilst I haven't taken any pics of the food...I'm sure I will have plenty of opportunity in the future as this will undoubtedly become my local cafe for me. My only feedback...the cups for tea and coffee are a little small for me...looks dainty in my hands, and gone in a gulp or two!!”
