About Everything Toastie
Toasties built on thick sourdough anchor the menu at Everything Toastie, a café on Carr Lane in Hull. Each one arrives with a choice of the house ET sauce or a little pot of homemade tomato soup, and portions run large. The line-up moves from the House Toastie to the Yes Chick and a tuna melt, mixing classic fillings with more inventive pairings, while fries and smoothies fill out an order. Service runs from the counter, where the team makes recommendations and offers a taste of the sauce before you order, so no booking is needed. Pots of the sauces and the chilli oil are sold to take home, extending the kitchen's flavours beyond the visit. A step-free entrance keeps the room reachable for visitors with mobility needs. The doors open daily through the daytime, which suits a quick lunch stop.

Customer Review Summary
The toasties dominate, described as massive, ridiculously cheesy and crisp on thick sourdough, with reviewers singling out the House Toastie with its signature ET sauce, the Yes Chick with house sauce, a tuna melt with fries, and an unusual raspberry jam and cheese combination that several treat as a reason to keep trying something new. Close behind is the homemade tomato soup served in a little pot alongside, which one first timer calls the highlight, packed full of flavour. Also mentioned are generously sized fresh smoothies and the sweets left on the tables. Portions come up repeatedly as huge and filling, and several call the value fair for the quality. Counter staff draw warm mentions for recommendations, checking back, and letting one customer taste the sauce before ordering. The only quibble raised is a wish for more of that sauce, and one pair liked it enough to buy a pot and the chilli oil to take home.

“First time trying after hearing some good reviews about this place. I am truly in love with it. Such a wide variety of delicious toasties. It’s so simple but beat my expectations. Big portions full of flavour, great drinks too. I think once you try you will love it too. Service is lovely and so is the atmosphere. Worth every penny.”

“I had a really great experience here! The toast was absolutely delicious, super juicy and generously buttered, just the way I like it. The lady at the counter, Hosanna, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations and even checked in to make sure everything was okay, which I really appreciated. The prices are very fair for the quality and portion you get. Also, the interior design is super cute and cozy, it just feels nice to be there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. If you are hungry, it is the perfect spot to quickly stop by!”

“We were looking for something to eat and found this place, the toasts were so delicious, definitely recommend! We’re from Germany and were really happy with the quality 😊 If you’re someone who truly appreciates a well-made toast, you should definitely come here! A special thank you to Hosanne, she was incredibly kind and gave us such a warm, friendly service. Everything was perfect! PS: The little candies on the table were super tasty too 🍬”

“Absolutely stuffed with cheese, the toasties are fabulous and come with either special sauce or a little pot of soup - both of which were really tasty. Service is good and helpful. All toasties were £10 when we visited but are huge and good value for money. Will definitely return when I'm next in Hull”
