Customer Review Summary
Regulars most often praise the food at this Hull cafe, with the Mediterranean breakfast singled out as beautiful, and describe plates as plentiful, filling and well priced. Coffee and other drinks come close behind, with reviewers calling the coffee great and the drinks lovely. Friendly, efficient staff are mentioned repeatedly, and several reviewers say they have returned a few times for lunch. One notes the bread used is Warburtons and that the food is made in view of the counter, and others describe the atmosphere as calm and friendly. The one caveat comes from a reviewer who expected the whole menu to be halal and found that only the Mediterranean breakfast was, though the service and atmosphere still earned a good word. One reviewer jokes about not wanting word to spread in case it becomes harder to find a table.

“Good place to have some coffee and some lunch. We thought the menu would be all halal but only the Mediterranean breakfast was halal. However service was great and atmosphere was good.”

“This is a gem of a cafe. We have eaten here a few times and have always enjoyed what we have ordered. The food is always plentiful and great tasting. The staff are really friendly and efficient and the cafe is scrupulously clean. You can see the staff making the food and it seems that they use really good quality ingredients, for example they use Warburtons bread. Whilst I want the cafe to know how brilliant they are, I am scared that people read this and then when we come back again we won't get a table 😂”
