Reviewers most often mention breakfast, sausages, bacon bap and pie and chips.
Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is what reviewers return for most, with several calling it the best they have had in Hereford, praising hot, fresh food, tasty sausages and a bacon bap with a generous amount of bacon. Burger and chips, sausage sandwiches and a pie and chips also get mentions, along with nice coffee and an Americano. Staff are the close second theme: reviewers describe them as friendly, chatty and helpful, and one says they went out of their way to fetch gluten free bread for a breakfast. The premises are called clean and tidy, with very clean toilets, though one reviewer finds them a bit bland, and another says the food is not cheap but great value. One reviewer can see the coach stop from the window. The caveats come from two reviewers: one says the breakfast was badly cooked, with bacon that looked like it had been cooked on a radiator, and another found most menu items unavailable. Regulars include one who visits every Friday for breakfast.

“Didn't have most items on menu. Very poor. When they are open.”

“Badly cooked breakfast. Bacon so poor it looked like it had been cooked on a radiator. Seem like it was slopped out and they appear to have given up on standards… Shame - they used to do a decent breakfast.”

“The smell the second you walk through the door and you smell the food cooking it’s divine , you honestly couldn’t ask for a warm welcome and brew, the food and treats are amazing and so is the company from staff and other clients. The staff work incredibly hard and have a good laugh with you throughout which makes your meal or brew so much better, the wonder woman working in the back of the cafe needs to be up front on show i’m telling you !!! 🫶🏽”

“Often stop by for a bacon bap (generous bacon quantity) and an Americano and milk (as I’ve learned to call it).”

“The nicest cafe in Hereford. Forget Greggs, here's where you'll get a proper pie and chips for £5, and amazing staff”
