  “Honestly i have been here years ago and it used to do soooo well! Idk what happened to this place it looks dusty and neglected the walls r chipping and yhhh its not the SAME Its poorly managed no lie And THE FOOOD!!!!!! urgh it was frustrating to gulp it down. I had to literally go to another nepalese place after caz the momo i ate didnt look fresh and it was oddly deflated and believe me!!! U cant come back from that if i can make better momo at home. M sorry to break this to u GOLDEN SIP but M NEVER COMING BACK. ITS WASTE OF FOOD, WASTE OF MY TIME AND WASTE OF MY MONEY.”

  “Placed a takeaway order on 21/06/26 and spent a total of £107.20, so I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the service and food were both disappointing. No chutneys or salad were included with the order. When I asked, I was told they stopped providing salad around 10 years ago, and even requesting basic mint and chilli sauce seemed to be an inconvenience. These are standard accompaniments at most Indian restaurants, so this was surprising. I also specifically requested that all the dishes be made mild with less oil, but this was largely ignored. Around 90% of the food was still quite spicy and much oilier than requested. To make matters worse, the staff’s attitude was unhelpful and unprofessional throughout. Overall, for the amount spent, the experience fell well below expectations. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for either takeaway or dining in.”

  “Lots of cigarettes butts outside the restaurant thrown on the footpath by their customers. They can easily provide a small bin but would rather have a dirty restaurant front. Sort it out please”

  “Had my wedding party here and it was amazing. The food and service were on point and I definitely recommend the restaurant to everyone. Nepali-Indian food has never been more authentic than this. The owner and his family are all very friendly which is the icing on the cake.”

  “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely love Golden Slip Restaurant! It’s our favourite spot in South Harrow. We tried the buff jhol momo, pork sekuwa, laphing, and chicken biryani — everything was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Nepali food and great hospitality!”

  “Ummmm disaster!! The Momo’s were so awful and lacked flavour. They had more of the outer layer of the momo than the actual filling. The waiter didn’t know anything about the menu and was quite frankly useless esp when I told him we didn’t like the momo he just looked at me confused.. really quite awful I would avoid and the interior is really dated and falling apart - I would be worried about the condition of the kitchen. For one plate of momo’s we wait literally 25 mins”

  “I tried the jhool momo and steam momo, but unfortunately, the outer coverings were rather thick with a scarcity of filling, and the taste was not quite satisfactory. Furthermore, the keema noodles were excessively salty. Regrettably, I am unable to recommend this establishment for a delightful culinary experience.”

  “Saturday evening, went for a quick family dinner. The place was quiet and I think some celebration was going on in the banquet hall. It was cold inside the restaurant. However, we enjoyed the food. The spicy pork slices were delicious. I would recommend the place if you love Nepalese cuisine.”

  “The place is one of the better known fusion Nepalese places. The location was convenient to get to. Food was above average. However, the ambiance was not very inviting; was a bit noisy when we visited. It might have to do something about that day and it may not be such on other days. We'd heard good things about the food especially momo but we did not find it to be worthy to be the talk of the town. On the flip side, chatpate and the chicken wings were absolutely smashing. Prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend to give it a go!”

  “We have been to this restaurant for many years now. This is classic fusion food from Indian and Nepal. We can vouch for pretty much most dishes but never reviewed and this deserves a review. We are regular customers. The momo's (chilli) and chicken lollipops are excellent and are house favourite and we always order these starters. Mains and naans are of high standard as are the rice dishes (biriyani/raita) we have consumed in the past. We have never consumed desserts. Drinks can be hit and miss and you have to be on the ball when ordering and asking for your bill - hence the minus start. Generally speaking, service is fine. This is some of the best food in the area, we always come here and maybe nearby Blue Ginger can compete. I have had the chicken tikka masala numerous times and its one of the best I have tried. Give this place a go, you will enjoy the food!”
