Customer Review Summary

Paneer tikka comes up most often at Mumbai Zing, whether as a starter or as paneer tikka masala. Close behind are the biryanis, with reviewers naming prawn and chicken versions as well-balanced and perfect. Chilli garlic mogo and chilli garlic naan, described as buttery and soft, also draw repeat mentions, along with papdi chaat, dal makhani, goat curry and a juicy chicken tikka aachari. One reviewer calls masala chips and masala peanuts a must try from the starters. A Goan food festival earned praise for surmayee fry, prawns masala, baby shark curry and solkadhi, and the weekend breakfast buffet drew comments for fresh parathas, masala omelettes and choley. Service is described as quick, friendly and sweet, portions as generous, and one family found the room not very loud for grandparents. Several reviewers say they will be back. One breakfast guest recalls the owner insisting that the chef would make fresh parathas whenever they liked.

“Absolutely phenomenal Goan food festival! We visited specifically for their Goan food festival, and it completely blew us away. I can easily say this is one of the best Goan/Konkani fish meals I have ever tasted. Every single dish was incredibly flavorful, featuring perfectly balanced spices that didn't overwhelm the fresh seafood. What really proved how good the food is: my wife isn't usually a big fan of fish or seafood, but she absolutely loved the fish here! 🍽️ The Set Menu Highlight: Surmayee Fry (Crispy and perfectly seasoned) Prawns Masala & Baby Shark Curry (Rich, deep coastal flavors) Solkadhi (An absolute must-have—even my seafood-skeptic wife fell in love with it!) Accompanied by fresh Chapatis, Rice, Salad, and a delicious Sweet to finish. If you see a coastal or Goan festival happening here, do not hesitate. Outstanding food with authentic flavors. We will definitely be back!”

“Lovely family oriented Indian restaurant. Amazing food with lots of flavour. We had paneer tikka, papdi chaat, garlic chilli mogo, mixed platter, chicken wings. All very delicious. For main dal makhani and the bread basket and chicken dish. We tried 2 cocktails which were very tasty and the kids enjoyed a jug of mango lassi. Service was very friendly and quick. Atmosphere was nice and not very loud for grandparents and we could have nice conversation. Overall a very pleasant meal out. Added bonus restaurant is BYOB which is one of the reason we choose to try this restaurant.”
