Quick info
About MOZO Coffee
MOZO Coffee is a small coffee shop at 1 St Catherine St in Gloucester, close to the rugby stadium. The kitchen runs a breakfast and lunch menu, with Turkish eggs and a breakfast burrito among the brunch plates. Coffee anchors the drinks side, and pain aux raisins sits alongside other sweet treats for those who want a pastry instead of a plate. The room is compact, so it suits a quick stop or a small party better than a big group. Dogs are welcome, which means walkers can bring their dog inside rather than leave it outside.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the coffee, called fantastic and better than franchise outlets by one, with several more calling it great or delicious. Close behind is the brunch food, where a breakfast burrito and Turkish eggs are singled out as tasty and nice, and one group found everything they tried from the menu gorgeous. The pan o raisin also gets a mention as yummy. Staff come up repeatedly as friendly and welcoming, and a visitor who stayed in Gloucester had three breakfasts here. The caveats are practical. One reviewer found parking extremely difficult and the place so crowded that no seats were left, which they link to the nearby rugby stadium. Another found it smaller than expected, noted cups with no handles that were hard to hold, and said the toilets did not flush well and are shared with the men. Even so, those two still praised the food, coffee and staff, and a regular planning to return weekly sums up the tone.

“Unique menu and really really friendly staff. The Turkish eggs were particularly nice! Cozy atmosphere and a great place to grab some breakfast and a coffee before you head out and explore. Would for sure stop by again and again.”

“The food here is genuinely good and the prices are fair for what you get, which makes it a solid option if you’re already in the area. Its location near the rugby stadium is definitely convenient, especially on match days. That said, the experience can be frustrating. Parking is extremely difficult to find, and when I visited, the place was so crowded that there were no available seats at all. It took away from what could have been a much more enjoyable visit. Overall, decent spot for food, but the lack of parking and seating makes it hard to fully recommend unless you’re prepared for the hassle.”

“Smaller than thought but coffee and pan o raisan yummy. No handles on cups which was unusual as my hand could not span it well. Toilets not flushing well also shared with the men . Nice staff.”

“If you are ever in Gloucester give this local business a try. The coffee is fantastic, probably the best tasting in the area, deffo better than the stuff you get from franchise outlets. The food is just amazing. Great choice on the me n u, well prepared, good portions and importantly very tasty. A small but well apportioned coffee shop with a lovely warm cosy atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and if a fan of Gloucester-Hartpury Women's Rughy you'll be supporting two of our very best. Also you never know who you'll bump into. Go along and support a local fledgling business by two of our very own who deserve to succeed.”
