About The Glevum Inn
The Glevum Inn is a family-run pub at 60 Oxstalls Way in Gloucester, with a children's play area and a private dining room that gives groups space for christenings, baby showers and funeral wakes. Birthday parties also book the pub in advance, including milestone celebrations. The kitchen cooks classic pub food, and the Sunday roast comes out on hot plates, with beef as a recurring choice and a selection of desserts to follow. Afternoon teas, cheeseboards and meat platters are available by pre-booking only. Classic beers sit within a wide range of drinks, and a pool table and dartboard give the bar something to play. Football shows on three or four screens, and the pub carries both Sky Sports and TNT Sports.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return most for the Sunday roast, with the beef singled out as so tender it can be eaten with a spoon. Two separate groups of about two dozen, children included, booked it for a 91st birthday and describe the plates arriving hot at the table, with a choice of desserts and gluten-free needs catered for. Close behind is the welcome: the staff are repeatedly called friendly, helpful, and efficient, and a few mention the bar staff in particular. Others praise the classic beers and drinks as affordable, plus pool and football on several screens. Families note the small play park in the garden and locals who are good with kids. One reviewer describes a simple menu of classic pub food during Tier 2 restrictions, and no recurring complaints appear. Several reviewers say they would recommend it, and one visitor in town for the Cheltenham Festival felt welcome from the first night.
