About Putt Putt Social Gloucester
Putt Putt Social Gloucester is a bar and Pan-Asian themed crazy golf venue in Gloucester city centre, at 53 Eastgate St. It has two courses, Zen Garden and Tokyo Drift, and both start easy and get more complicated as play goes on. Neon lights and artwork on the walls carry a Japanese and Asian theme through the space. The kitchen serves Asian street food on site, and the bar makes cocktails and other mixed drinks to go with a round. The venue opens daily and stays open late in the evening, which suits a night out after dark.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers come for the two Asian-themed crazy golf courses, Tokyo Drift and Zen Garden, describing neon lights, wall artwork and a vibrant look. Several call the courses entertaining and challenging, starting easy and getting more complicated, and both families and groups of friends are said to enjoy them. Staff are called friendly, helpful and chatty, and a few mention lovely cocktails, good mixing with the drinks and decent music. The complaints are specific. A returning visitor says the sushi they loved is gone, replaced by frozen basic food, so they skipped eating. Another group booked for advertised truly unlimited Sunday golf, was given a shorter time limit on arrival, and was told to leave before the second course because of closing, despite a later closing time on the website. One reviewer reports a manager objected to a friend's assistance dog barking once while alerting to a high heart rate. One couple who had the courses to themselves recall a staff member totalling the scores at the end and announcing the winner.

“Absolute disgrace never coming here again! Rude staff especially the male manager absolutely horrible attitude. A Friend made it clear she’s got an assistantance dog and the manager wasn't having it at all. By law an assistance dog can be here. But no the bloody manger wanted the dog to not bark but she was alerting to my friends high heart rate which is the dogs job and she only barked once which is what she’s supposed to do.”

“Didn’t have food so can’t comment on it! I am writing this review as the manager, George at putt putt was amazing! He was so friendly right from the start give us clear information! Even at the end he calculated our score and told us who was the winner. George was so polite and made us feel respected and comfortable. I will 100% be returning back! The golf courses were amazing and well detailed! It was just me and my partner with the whole golf courses!”

“An Ace Time playing Mini Golf in Gloucester earlier today, definitely worth visiting with Friends and Family! 😎 ⛳️ 👍”

“We booked two mini golf courses for six people based on the advertised “truly unlimited golf, all day Sunday.” When we arrived at 7 p.m., we were told we only had 1.5 hours. We accepted that and played the first course, then wanted to move on around 8p.m to the second. At that point, we were told they were closing and had to leave, even though their website lists a 10 p.m. closing time. The unlimited claim and posted hours didn’t match our experience, which made the visit disappointing.”

“Had an absolute blast at Putt Putt Social! It’s definitely not your average mini golf course. We tried both the Tokyo Drift and Zen Garden courses, and the level of detail is incredible—the neon lights and vibrant Asian-themed decor create such a fun, immersive vibe. It’s a great spot for both families and groups of friends. If you’re looking for something fun and a bit different to do in Gloucester city centre, I can’t recommend this place enough.”
