About The Drunken Duck
The Drunken Duck is Gloucester's smallest pub, a pub in Gloucester at 1 Bull Ln. Downstairs is a traditional pub room with four hand pulls pouring real ale and craft ales. Alcoholic slushies sit alongside the cask lines, and live music plays on a regular basis. Upstairs, a separate games room holds an arcade machine, a darts board and a PS5, with a projector screen on the wall. Every game in that room is free to use, so a visit can move from the bar to a round of darts without any extra cost. Dogs are welcome.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return to this small Gloucester pub above all for its friendly atmosphere, with the welcome from staff and locals mentioned again and again. Close behind is the beer: diners praise the craft ales, good pints of cider and a pickle beer, and several call the prices decent. The free games upstairs are a repeated draw, with a pool table and a Pac-Man machine that one reviewer beat the high score on. Some describe it as a good place to settle in solo or for a whole night, and one group meant to continue a pub crawl but stayed once they found the duck-topped cans behind the bar were for sale from the fridge. A few mention a lovely old building and great music, and one wished they could have made a planned album night. The only note of caution is that one visitor did not think food was served beyond crisps and nuts. One reviewer was even bought a round by a stranger on a quiet Monday.

“Tucked down a side alley... (probably listed as the smallest bar in Gloucester. )It was a rather a late September glorious sunny day and I was looking for somewhere to sit and enjoy the last of the summer sun. Spotting there were tables and outside I decided to venture in. Now it was a Monday so I was kinda surprised that such a small space was open. However it was buzzing. A lovely atmosphere... people so friendly. In fact some one was getting a round in and bought mine too !! (Thank you Alan!) The bar was well stocked spirits and wines available and although I don't think food available..there were your usual bar snacks.. crisps, nuts etc There is an upstairs floor which apparently is used for games ..not sure if spill over seats for bar area. Anyway check them out. And keep them thriving.”

“Took my Sister here when she came to visit me in Gloucester. We got good pints of ciders. I like how they have normal type things to drink and unique things (like they got a pickle beer which is pretty good) they got arcade games aswell which we could play for free. All around great time.”

“Welcome to Gloucester’s Smallest Pub. Serving real ale, craft ales and everything inbetween. 4 hand pulls, alcoholic slushies and regular live music.
