About White Row Farm Cafe
White Row Farm Cafe is a cafe in Frome set inside a farm-run food hall, alongside an antique shop and a gift shop, with pigs and chickens outside. The kitchen draws on produce from its own farm and local producers, with a focus on seasonal vegetables, and the menu includes gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Breakfast covers a cooked breakfast, granola, and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on sourdough, and the Ploughman's Lunch is also on the menu. Coffee is made from freshly ground beans. Dogs are welcome, and the tables can seat a group of 8. A car park with plenty of spaces serves the site.

Customer Review Summary
Breakfast is the main draw at White Row Farm Cafe, with reviewers praising a unique granola, a cooked breakfast, and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on sourdough. Close behind are the sandwiches, called the best for miles around, and the fish and chips. Several describe friendly, chatty staff, and one notes a staff member returning forgotten earplugs. The coffee gets a good word, and the shop and rustic surroundings are called lovely. Others find service and value uneven. One breakfast diner cancelled after an hour's wait for food that was promised in half that time, while neighbours who ordered later were served first. Another described a waitress who never smiled and said only to pay at the till. A ploughman's lunch arrived with two thin slices of bread and no egg or pork pie, and a cheese plate with watery coleslaw was called unappealing. Several call it pricey, though one attributes that to good quality ingredients. A reviewer also mentions undercooked eggs, and a diner with a group of eight found plenty of seating and a useful play area for the kids.

“We came yesterday (Sunday) for breakfast and was told when we were seated that it was a 30 minute wait for food which was absolutely fine. After 45 minutes, I asked the waitress where our food was and she said that we were warned about the wait. I stated that we were told it was 30 minutes. She checked with the kitchen and was told it would be another 5-10 minutes. Two people sat next to us then received their breakfast despite ordering at least 20 minutes after us. An hour passed after ordering and we decided to cancel our food and leave. The staff made us feel that it was a massive inconvenience to take food off the order. It’s a shame as we have been a few times in the past and it wasn’t this bad. We definitely won’t be returning as an hour wait for a breakfast after being told it would only be 30 minutes isn’t acceptable.”

“We stopped off here on the way to Brecon. We both had a lovely breakfast. I especially liked the granola, it was quite unique and my son enjoyed his cooked breakfast. Staff were friendly and chatty. Will definitely go back and try the lunch menu at some point. Car park and road leading up was very busy, didn't look as many people there as the amount of cars suggested. Lovely well stocked shop too. Small outside area for kids to play on. I think maybe the walkway from cafe to shop could be made a bit wider/safer. We felt we were going to get run over when walking between the two and people parking.”

“Lots of tables indoor and outdoor. Could easily seat a group of 8. Good food, good service and a useful play area for the kids. Limited number of farm animals to look at.”

“I always enjoy coming to whiterow for breakfast. The staff are always friendly with good service. It’s a lovely place if you want a good breakfast. It’s a little on the pricier side but only because you can tell they use good quality foods.”
