  “Came in with son in law and ordered the 2 meals £16.45. Sausage and mash and hunters chicken were amazing with great portion sizes. Lovely service from Becca at the bar and Alice was very attentive to us. Would definitely come again”

  “Came to the Bath House on the 27th June with my Brother and his wife and my husband. We wanted to eat before going to the pavilions. My self and husband ordered the chicken flat bread and opted for the BIG SALAD instead of the flat bread. We were incredibly disappointed . The food came.on a very hot dish and this meant that the lettuce was half cooked! The BIG SALAD consisted of loads of half cooked lettuce and a tomato cut in to 4 Nothing else. Sister in law had the fish and chips which were ok but I would say there were no more than a dozen chips on her plate and likewise with the Scampi my brother had. Some of rhe scampi was cold in the middle so he only had a couple. We ordered sticky toffee pudding for afters which was still cold in the middle so once again we didn't eat it. Cutlery was dirty as well Service was poor and slow and it was pointless complaining as there was a huge queue at rhe bar and we were running out of time. No one asked how our food was when they cleared the plates and you would have thought they would given the fact of the amout that was left. We were all incredibly disappointed given the fact that we have eaten and stayed in several Green King places around the country. Needless to say we will not be eating at rhe Bath house again.”

  “Just went in for a couple drinks in the sun and had an amazing meal. The lad that served me Jayden was so nice and welcoming. Amazing coustomer service polite and patient while I was making my decision on what I wanted and very helpful when it came to how to order on the app. The food was incredible well cooked and well prepped. The Mac’n’cheese was to die for and the steak was cooked to perfection. Would 100% recommend going there and I will be going again”

  “Ordered a Gammon with a 'large dressed salad' (wording from menu). It was a garnish at best.. a few leaves, a little tomato and a few bits of sweetcorn. When it arrived, I asked where my large salad was and the man said, it's to replace the chips!! Since it was done up and the menu changed, it's gone down hill. I won't be returning for food!”

  “Thus place is lovely 😍 Beautifully decorated and comfy to sit inside. The beer garden at the front was lovely too! We would have sat there if it wasn't so windy!!. The staff as you would expect were friendly and chatty. We didn't try the food, but it looks very tempting, maybe next time we go!”

  “We popped into the Bath House on Friday. The drinks were great. My dad ordered from the senior menu and had the fish and chips with garden peas, while my partner had the steak sandwich. The fish and chips were a good portion size and my dad really enjoyed them, although the peas were cold. The steak sandwich came out cold as well and was quite fatty, so we called the waiter over. They were very apologetic and said it was no problem to replace it, and while we waited they even offered a free pint, which was a really nice gesture. The replacement steak sandwich was much better served hot and overall decent. The outdoor area is lovely, especially with the sunny weather we had. Overall, it’s a great spot for drinks and watching the football. If you’re planning to eat, though, I’d probably just order some chips and head somewhere else for a proper meal.”

  “Visited The Bath House a few days back and unfortunately, it didn't live up to the location. I’m only just getting around to posting this now, but the experience really stuck with me for the wrong reasons. ​We had the Katsu Curry and the Bacon Cheese Burger, which both arrived looking pretty grim. Visually, the plates were completely uninspiring just a mess of beige. The burger was very basic, but the Katsu was a disaster to look at just a murky, dark brown sauce poured over everything with a random pile of pale rice and chips on the side. Not a single bit of freshness or garnish to be seen. ​It didn't taste much better than it looked, and the main issue was that it was all served cold. When Larisa came over for a check back, we mentioned the quality and the fact it was cold, but we were just told that this was the standard of the food served here. ​There was no offer to replace the plates or fix the issue, which was really disappointing. It’s a shame because it's a nice place for a drink in the sun, but I definitely won't be having the food here again.”

  “Awful experience and definitely would not be returning for food. Came in here on a quiet Monday afternoon for lunch, ordering one steak and cheese ciabatta roll and one chicken and bacon wrap. Waited around 40 minutes for these two meals which, when eventually came out, were wrong. My meal was in a roll and my partner’s came in the wrap (meant to be other way round). I stayed with mine as i was too hungry by this point to wait for a replacement, but my partner had his swapped. I opened my ‘chicken and bacon’ roll to find what can only be described as a crust of a bacon inside, a joke. My partner’s ‘steak and cheese’ roll didn’t even contain cheese! Alongside the fact it was overdone, dry and rubbery. At this point we were so fed up and didn’t want to stay here any longer, so just ate what was edible and left. Do not recommend.”

  “After days of rain, we headed down to Exmouth for a little escape. The weather couldn’t have been better — sunshine all day, a lovely lunch by the sea, and a full recharge of Vitamin D. What a place, pure legend. Dog Friendly …”
