“Excellent location, especially further heatwave, went for a swim in the river and then to the pub, sat outside for something to eat. Would highly recommend going if you can. Will say roads are tight to get to the pub so if you have coach built camper it will be very tight but worth it.”

“Fantastic location on the Teign gorge with ample parking and picturesque footpaths wandering up to Castle Drogo. Following a reasonably priced coffee I enjoyed the vegan corn fritters with a view towards the bridge but there was also plenty of room inside and with many gluten free options. Definitely worth a visit, especially by foot.”

“A beautiful place to visit. Avoid weekends as parking is quite limited, but we found weekdays OK. Cream teas in this place are THEE best ever! All staff we came across were so very friendly, helpful and polite. Went twice in our weeks holiday.... Worth it!”
