“Six of us Happened upon Green oak farm this evening looking for a quiet drink after a day out in the sunshine at Cheshire oaks. We received a friendly welcome from Ellie who explained we could dine inside or on the patio outside and how to use the app for table service. The young lady on the bar was very attentive and brought our drinks over quickly and was very bubbly and made us feel welcome. The food was great it arrived in good time although the pub was quite busy and had a few larger parties going on. Most of us went for the chicken combos as we arrived too late for the carvery which finished at 8pm. The half roast chicken was delicious, we can’t wait to visit again for a carvery one day”

“I visited recently as a party of just over 10 booked in advance. The atmosphere was lovely, a very large place with rustic charm. Food was splennnnndid, I had the carvery yet found there was low stock on some dishes for other party members getting theirs. The staff were nice but seemed rushed and stressed, we found out they were low on staff which was a shame - not for us guests since we didn't mind the slightest wait on service but for the staff pressure. Overall we had a lovely time, only id like to see some more staff support.”
