“We had a birthday/pre-Festival dinner at Verdo last weekend, and really enjoyed it. The warm Turkish bread and the creamy aubergine Tarator were fantastic. We also enjoyed the chicken shish and the lamb chops. With all the complimentary salads and dips, we had a massive amount of food. A bottle of Turkish red wine went really well with the grilled meat and bread. The restaurant staff were clearly prepared for a busy weekend Festival evening, but the vibe was nonetheless chill and very welcoming. Would strongly recommend for anyone looking for a Middle Eastern style grill restaurant in the Southside area.”

The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and inviting, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely fantastic—fresh, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. Every dish we ordered was delicious, with generous portions and authentic taste. It’s easily some of the best Turkish food we’ve had. A special mention has to go to the owner, who is such a genuinely kind and lovely person. He has an amazing personality, took the time to chat with us, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. You can really see how much he cares about his customers and his restaurant. He truly deserves all the success that comes his way. We can’t recommend Verdo Turkish BBQ highly enough.
