Customer Review Summary
The mixed grill draws the most praise, with diners calling the meat tender and cooked to perfection, and the portions big enough that one husband struggled to finish. Adana and a mixed shish kebab to share earn similar approval, while icli kofte, calamari, hummus with sucuk and a mixed cold meze are named among the starters. Desserts such as kunefe with chocolate ice cream and homemade baklava are described as fresh and light. Complimentary extras recur across the reviews: dips and olives, mini lahmacun or Turkish pizza with starters, and Turkish tea or coffee at the end. Reviewers also describe friendly, welcoming staff, a quiet, chill room with soft Turkish music, and good value. The one critical reviewer found the mixed platter for four stingy, with a single lamb chop and chicken wing each, said most of the chips were raw, and felt staff rolled their eyes when asked for a receipt. Free tea arriving when the bill was requested appears in more than one account.

“Such a beautiful restaurant with Turkish food and incredibly friendly staff! Last tuesday, we were pleasantly surprised with delicious complimentary appetizers before the main course, and even treated to free traditional tea when we asked for the bill. The owner even spoke some Dutch, which was a lovely personal touch. A true recommendation to visit!"”

“First visit and will definitely be back. So many tasty looking things on the menu and we weren't disappointed with what we chose. Started with a mixed cold meze to share and followed that with a mixed shish kebab, again to share. Both were absolutely delicious. Finished dinner off with a complimentary Turkish tea. Excellent value for money too.”

“Amazing. So quiet at around 4.45pm & wasn't sure if person sitting down was working or a customer when I came in with reservation. Very chill music, quite quiet even by 7pm when we were there till with considerate customers in & spacious with a peaceful garden out the window at the back, private-only seating downstairs, comfy seats that just need a little brushing but probably only 1 of them. Food was so tasty, lovely presentation - we tried the hummus with sucuk, icli kofte with complimentary mini lahmacun very kindly as we asked how to pronounce it, chicken beyti, aubergine pide & kunefe with Şalgam that really did help me digest it all & felt very healthy & Turkish tea with sugar that was lovely pairing with the cheesy kunefe that comes with chocolate ice cream. Such friendly chill service too without being too overbearing, no pressure even without asking to take away my menu as they could see I was still snapping pics of what we chose to remember what's in them, & funny tiny nephew. Thanks for a lovely time//”
