Customer Review Summary
Scrambled eggs are the most frequent draw, served on toast or sourdough and described as creamy, fresh and cooked perfectly, though one reviewer wishes for a runny egg option since scrambled is the only style. Close behind, the Brie and blackberry toast earns praise for well balanced, fresh ingredients, alongside the cheese toast, hazelnut toast and a berry bowl. Avocado toast splits opinion. A few call it delicious, while one found it tasteless and the granola with fruit and honey below expectations, with little yogurt. Coffee draws mostly good words, including a smooth cappuccino, a rich espresso and a perfect flat white, though one reviewer found the latte too milky and the fruity beans in the flat white not to their taste. Portions are called generous, and one reviewer says service is a little slow because the food is made fresh. Staff are described as friendly, and one diner says a request to swap an ingredient was happily done.

“Lovely little café with a warm, cosy atmosphere and a relaxed vibe. The coffee was excellent, and the scrambled eggs on sourdough were fresh, creamy, and full of flavour. The toasted sourdough with butter and jam was simple but delicious. Friendly service and a great place for breakfast or a coffee break. Would definitely come back!”

“Such a great find in Edinburgh! ✨ I ended up coming here twice during my trip, and both visits were equally great. The girls working there were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was lovely, and it quickly became one of my favorite coffee stops in the city. Highly recommend 🤍”
