  “Authentic Chinese can be hard to find but this place did not disappoint. So many options on the menu, it was hard to choose. All the dishes we had were delicious, especially the pork with preserved vegetables, fish with picked veg and the pork with garlic bolts. The dumplings were also great - 15 in a portion and each one was huge! Would recommend one portion before 2 people, unless you’re really hungry. Quick and friendly service too. There are only about 5 tables so best to book a table!”

  “I ordered pig intestine rice and garlic flavoured Chinese leaves. Both dishes were very delicious, especially the pig intestine was very tender, juicy and flavourful. The whole place was clean and fresh.”

  “Honestly I think this is the best Chinese restaurant around here. The food is always good, especially the spicy dishes, they are super flavourful and just done right every time. You can tell the ingredients are good quality as well which I really appreciate. I also like their fried food, it is always cooked perfectly and tastes great. The owner is really nice and makes you feel welcome which is a big plus. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are nearby.”

  “I've ordered from this place many times, but this is the worst it's been unfortunately. None of the dishes were good. The braised pork belly was too dry and rough, the chicken tasted a bit weird to me, the jellyfish with cucumber was the worst among all (the seasoning was not good I guess? The cucumber had a strong raw vegetable smell and taste that was overpowering everything else. I understand it was not cooked but it could've tasted a lot better if it was marinated long enough), and the french beans for some reason became mangetout... and I didn't like it! Not an enjoyable experience this time. I'm really disappointed :(”

  “My go-to spot for authentic Chinese food. Large portions and warm service really make you feel at home. The owner is always smiley and kind, being very thoughtful about dietary requirements. The western takeaway menu and authentic Chinese menu are both well made with amazing ingredients and are priced reasonably. It is fabulous for both sit-ins and takeaways, and amazing location right next to Haymarket!”

  “Constructive review only to assist the restaurant. We were heading here after reading good reviews about the food. It was a cold, rainy night. Arrived outside, freezing cold and chittering. The place was empty. The interior appeared very cold and unwelcoming, like a bare cafe. Restaurant, please spice up your interior with maybe even a half floor carpet, some nice thick wallpaper and good, thick, cosy curtains and lighting. - This will be knviting to customers. The place was not inviting, so we didn't go in, as we needed warmth and comfort. - We would not get warm, cosy comfort in this restaurant. Good Luck!!”

  “Great place for Chinese food. Service was quick and food was tasty. Portions were adequate and its nearby the train station. Great place to go if you would like some Chinese food. Good amounts of seating as well so easy to sit large groups.”
