  “amazing customer service from these guys - they forgot something from our order but delivered it in just 5-10 mins after we called. when they arrived, we were met with sincere apologies and bags of fortune cookies. considering this was only one item missing - amazing service from these guys could not be happier!”

  “Ordered a takeaway. Got mixed starter, lemon chicken, beef chow mein hong kong style and mixed veg. The mixed starter was tasty and generous, and the chow mein and veg were both pretty good. However, the lemon chicken was vile and the sweet and sour sauce that came with the starter was too. The lemon chicken sauce tasted like bleach mixed with sweetener and the sweet and sour tasted like cherry syrup. I don't know why they are making those dishes so badly when the other items were pretty good.”

  “What can I say: Ordered at 20:45 Got the order at 21:30 to be collected 10/10 service and quick Lovely staff Food nice and hot No missing items Free prawn crackers Clean store Easy to pick up the order, parking round the corner and if your lucky, infront of the place. Lucky Chen is now my goto Chinese”

  “I got completely the wrong order so very disappointed. Either the online form is faulty or orders were mixed. No confirmation received so difficult to assess where it went wrong and order on website incomplete! Complete waste of money.”

  “My go to takeaway since 3 years. I was a student at Heriot Watt University when I ordered for the first time and since then I have been a regular customer. Must Try dishes : Lucky Chen does the best and most refreshing Orange Chicken. Absolute generous portion of Chicken Breast and Orange Sauce has the optimum level of sweetness and zing. I savour every bit of it. Mixed Chow Mein is always on my order. It has an amazing Wok flavour and I also ask them to make it spicy. We also tried Kung Po Chicken and it’s my new favourite now. I have also tried their Pineapple Chicken, it was good but I like the Orange Chicken more Their Chop Suey is full of veggies and the sauce is amazing. It goes well with Duck Fried Rice. Do try. I am on my way to order my regular and felt like the reviews are not justified. This place is very good and food is freshly made to order. It has become my Comfort Food.”

  “Food was good, especially for the price! And they gave freebies when you spend over a certain amount. However, the only thing was that they got my order wrong, but to be fair it was a mass order, but still would've been nice if they hadn't. And the wonton soup was good, but they put in just regular iceberg lettuce when in the photos on the menu it was bok choi.”
