  “Delicious cocktails and fun experience! Staff was awesome and the whole environment is fun. Staff are very good storytellers and they engage you from the beginning to the end. As with many theme places that engage with a theme, I was prepared for the cocktails to be not as good, but I was pleasantly proven wrong. Cocktails were VERY delicious.”

  “Great immersion, love for details to make your inner nerd and cocktail lover happy. The staff is super friendly, dressed to match the theme and the cocktails are amazing. If you can’t decide they give good recommendations. We where there for the journey‘s end theme and all of sudden a few people turned up dressed as the fellowship (shoutout to Gimlis crochet beard). Gotta love that”

  “Such a great experience being self confessed geeks ourselves. The geeks drinks menu covered all palates and the treasure quiz to unlock more cocktails is a fun option. They do have other drink options as well. Staff deliver the drinks more like a performance than a mere explanation. A fun night out for anyone.”

  “Unfortunately we only had an hour booking due to a tight schedule but we visited during the Journey's End theme and loved our time there. Our server (or DM!) was friendly, funny and did a great job setting the scene for each drink. I wish we'd had more time to try more of the menu but what we did try was inspired and delicious. We will definitely be back!”

  “Happy to share that I just absolutely loved this place. Some of the finest cocktails I've ever had and the staff were friendly and hilarious. Two floor bar and themed cocktails located near Edinburgh's train station. We didn't have a booking, but were lucky enough to snag a nice seat upstairs. I would recommend booking seats in advance. The bar's theming rotates/switches every four months - and ranges from things like D&D to Jurassic Park and Fallout. The theme when I went was D&D "Journey's End" and I absolutely loved the mead and Grog. All of the staff were quite funny and friendly too. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Edinburgh and you should definitely visit too!”

  “We’ve been wanting to come for a while, but when my birthday and the Studio Ghibli theme aligned we knew we had to visit. From the decor, to the music, to the yummy thoughtful cocktails and the super passionate staff - we had the most amazing evening. It really felt like the staff were a bunch of nerdy passionate friends that came together to create something amazing (maybe that is the case?). Staff were super friendly and was the cherry on top of the experience. Would highly recommend especially if you see a theme you love!!”

  “My sister had gotten us a voucher for Xmas and we were delighted with the experience. Our server Rain was super lovely! They explained each cocktail in great detail and gave a lovely back story to each one, explaining how in encapsulated each film it was inspired by. The drinks were phenomenal and clearly well thought out! I even got a couple of snacks along side the ones I ordered which were delicious 😍 highly highly highly recommend”

  “This menu is ASTOUNDING. The eco twists on the drinks are super cool as Cameron very patiently explained to us and looked after us :) Drinks were all 10/10 and lived up to my (very high) expectations, love the theme, and the staff are all super sweet, funny, and friendly! Loads of non-alc options for great price too. Shout out to Toby as well who explained the drink concepts to us and managed to squeeze us onto a table. Looking forward to a transformers theme in the future ;)”

  “Going to cocktail geeks was a great experience! I have been wanting to go for a while and finally made it down for the studio ghibli cocktails which was amazing! The cocktails were creative and interesting but also tasted good. We got one cocktail that was not to our taste that had a taziki foam on top, and we couldn’t drink it but the staff were so accommodating and switched it out for us, so kind. We had a great time here would recommend.”

  “Amazing immersion, wonderful attention to detail overall, the drinks are FANTASTIC, and the staff are brilliant! Me and my husband visited for his birthday for the Ghibli theme last weekend, and it was wonderful. We were served by Cal who gave us little intro bits to each drink we had and it was clear how passionate he was about the theme, drinks and our experience. As fellow Ghibli fans we were amazed and had such a great time! And we were ecstatic to learn the next theme is Lord Of the Rings, just in time for our anniversary so...I think I know where we're going for that! So great to see this establishment go from strength to strength! The last time we came was for a Witcher theme, so it had been YEARS, and it was a thrill to find the place having grown so much in that time - though it was always great tbh! Thank you again to Cal for such a great experience, and to those making the drinks downstairs, you're wizards!”
