  “Had an great family meal served by some outstanding staff. the team made us feel welcome, but their warmth toward our kids was what really made the evening special. ​Carly and Skye were warm, patient, and went out of their way to make sure the little ones were happy—bringing their food out quickly, talking directly to them, and handling every request with a warm smile.”

  “Such a lovely atmosphere here. Our waitress Carly was so friendly and helpful. I had the lasagne which was lovely. I noticed they have some cosy nooks for reading and books to borrow too. Great selection of food and drinks for all including mocktails!”

  “First time here, but we have been to Vintage Inns before. It was very clean, and well maintained. The staff (Charlie and Carly) were genuinely friendly and made us all feel very welcome. We all said it was a very enjoyable Birthday meal and that we'd definitely return again. Well done to all the staff at the Tawney Owl.”

  “We had a fantastic visit to The Tawny Owl. The atmosphere was beautiful, relaxed, and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. The service was excellent from start to finish. Carly and Charlie went above and beyond to make our experience special. They took the time to recommend items from the menu, which were absolutely spot on, and their friendly, attentive approach really stood out. A lovely touch was when they arranged an extra scoop of ice cream with our dessert, which was greatly appreciated and showed their commitment to great customer service. A big thank you to Carly and Charlie for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend The Tawny Owl to anyone looking for great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and outstanding service.”

  “Visited The Tawny Owl recently and had a really lovely experience. The pub has a warm, rustic feel and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty, well‑presented, and good value for money — especially the weekend special menu. Tandoori chicken skewers were delicious starters and pan fried duck as mains was sumptuous . Sticky toffee pudding was good but could with a bit bigger portion of custard. Service was relaxed and attentive, even during busier times. The countryside setting adds to the charm, making it a great spot for families or a casual meal out. Overall, a reliable and enjoyable pub with a cosy atmosphere.”

  “We had such a lovely experience tonight, and a huge part of that was thanks to Carly. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, attentive, friendly and genuinely made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, she was constantly checking in on us with a smile and made the whole evening feel relaxed and special. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only fantastic at their job but also brings such positive energy to the restaurant. Carly is an absolute credit to the team and honestly made our night. Thank you for such amazing service — we’ll definitely be back!”

  “The food for all four of us,at a 60th birthday celebration was delicious and tasty.Three of us had a mini pudding and drink which finished the meal off amazingly.The birthday lady had a sticky toffee pudding and the chef had added a candle and written birthday on too which was such a special touch. Carly and Charlie looked after us brilliantly,catering to our needs and special evening.”

  “I love this place, it is a great relaxed environment and the food is gorgeous. We came for our annual girls Christmas meet up and had such a laugh. Our servers were very professional especially Carly who went above and beyond. I recommend this place highly. One suggestion is maybe more selection of zero drinks like gin and wine.”
