About Copper Beech Pub
On Neasham Rd in Darlington, Copper Beech Pub is a pub serving British pub food alongside dishes from other parts of the world. The menu includes garlic parmo and fish, chips and mushy peas, with the food cooked in house. Families get a kids' deal when an adult orders a meal, and a small park outside gives children somewhere to play. Dogs are allowed inside, so the pub works for visits with a pet. A three-course Christmas menu is also offered.

Customer Review Summary
Reviewers most often return for the garlic parmo, which two diners say they ordered on every visit, one calling it dynamite and never once a bad one. Close behind are the homemade food and large portions, with fish, chips and mushy peas described as hot and cooked properly. The Christmas menu for three courses is called very filling, and one group recommended it to their parents. Families mention kids eating for a pound with an adult meal and a small park outside. Several call the staff friendly, including a server who remembers regulars' drinks, and the pub is repeatedly described as dog friendly, with locals and staff happy to have a dog in. Complaints are milder but specific. One diner found the stroganoff lacking in flavour and the steak a bit tough, with a wait after a problem with the ordering tablet. Another called the food not overly great, the car park small and tight, and the toilets not the cleanest. One reviewer found the cappuccino strange tasting and not hot enough, though the fish and chips arrived hot.

“Visited today and ive always enjoyed their food, however found the stroganoff lacked flavour and my partners steak was a bit tough. Nice enough to eat but not the standard I had previously had here. Server was friendly and looked after us although I think there was a problem with the ipad resulting in a bit of a wait before food arrived. But when it did it was fresh and hot.”
