Customer Review Summary

Crab is the draw, with the Cromer crab salad described as delicious and extremely fresh, packed with meat and served with warm new potatoes, crusty bread and coleslaw. Another reviewer calls the Cromer crab sandwich a standout. Close behind is the half English, praised for its tasty Butcher's sausage and thick brown toast, while a full English is credited to meat from the local butcher. Tea and coffee get praise, and staff are repeatedly called friendly. Two parties found no crab, and one settled for baguettes the reviewer called cheap frozen ones. Another found the crab sandwiches barely tasted of anything, on poor bread, and one reviewer described coffee like hot milk and a sloppy breakfast for the price. A few mention the place needs a spruce up and has no toilets. One reviewer's son was intrigued by the fish tank with the clown fish.

“We popped in for some crab sandwich's. But no crab. So we ordered some baguettes. The fillings were nice, but the baguettes were the cheap frozen ones. Lovely coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly.”

“Not very busy for a lunchtime visit. Service and food were good. My son was intrigued by the fish tank with the clown fish in. Cromer crab sandwich was a standout. Lovely. Would return.”

“We visited today and had amazing service. The food was well-made a range of different options. The service was fast, friendly and the staff really went above and beyond. I would highly recommend.”

“I dont want to give bad reviews, especially to small businesses, but try harder man! It was a horror movie for us. Awful coffee that tasted like hot milk, didn't feel clean, I could see into the kitchen, no kitchen attire, dirty looking shirt and all a bit messy. Food was very low quality for top notch prices!!! I couldnt eat my breakfast as it was too sloppy and I felt ill from everything I was experiencing. Come on, level up! Get better ingredients, learn better presentation, deep clean the place, get rid of the hospital side table thing at the door and this place could be amazing! Just look around on Instagram at what smashed avacado with poached eggs could look like, and stick a bit of rocket in ya bagels! It's 2026 guys! Really hope you read this and think to make a change and not ignore this kinda feedback.”

“Popped in here for breakfast. Warm welcome, good coffee/Tea and the full English breakfast was very good. They use meat from the local butcher and the eggs looked good quality. Would highly recommend.”
