About Kerbside Kitchen
Kerbside Kitchen is a restaurant on Garden Street in Cromer, with dogs welcome inside. The menu leans toward burgers, fries and chicken wings, alongside a char siu pork belly for something different. Tables in the dining room sit within view of the kitchen, and a sign at the entrance asks guests to wait to be seated before finding a spot. Communal or self-seating tends to happen when no host is free to greet arrivals. A wait at peak times is common, and walk-ins are frequently turned away without a booking. Takeaway orders have also been refused close to closing.

Customer Review Summary
Burgers and street-food-style plates sit at the centre of what diners describe, with several reviewers singling out the burgers and fries as the reason they return. Close behind, the char siu pork belly is named directly as packing an "incredible" flavour, and reviewers repeatedly praise the food's presentation and reasonable pricing. The menu is described as creative and varied enough that one party struggled to choose, and reviewers also point to the beer selection. Service draws consistent praise as friendly, quick, and welcoming, and several suggest booking ahead because tables are hard to get, with walk-ins reportedly turned away even over an hour before closing. On the negative side, multiple reviewers describe feeling ignored at the door or seated themselves after waiting with no acknowledgment, and one reports a wrong burger order that, after being swapped, contained chilli sauce they could not eat. One reviewer also describes concerns about staff hygiene around the open kitchen. Several recommend the spot highly for return visits.

“Normally the burgers are amazing but I ordered a sweet bbq smash burger and I was given a chicken burger, I understand mistakes are made but they swapped it and when I got home to eat it the burger had a chilli sauce in it which I don't eat so that was £11.50 completely waisted. Not happy”

“Where to start! Everyone has to try here at least once! We will be back every cromer visit for sure! Streetfood creativity with the luxury of dining in. So busy, so definately book as could see them having to turn a lot of people away. Menu was amazing, almost too good we couldnt decide what to have. Prices were very reasonable especially for the amazing quality of the food. Loved the background music playing here aswell. Service was great aswell. Added bonus for people with kids, they have the toilet seat adaptors on the toilets. I only mention this as its so cheap, but so valuable to have these, especially when in a cubicle and trying to hold your child on the toilet, well done for thinking of this!!!! Only note and its purely personal preference ... the sauce we added to the chicken wings would of been nice to habe a pot of this on the side to dip the wings into and also would of loved a bit more sauce on the char siu pork belly as my goodness the flavour was incredible, but had used most of the sauce before finishing the pork. Incredible food will be back!”

“Me and my wife visited here a week ago. First of all the staff were very friendly and welcoming, The service we received was amazing. The food was served quickly and presented very well, Tasted amazing and at a very reasonable price for the amount of food we had. Overall I would recommend this place as we really enjoyed it and will definitely vist again in the future. The only small criticism would be the food could of been slightly hotter and bigger plates for the burgers as they were served on very small trays”

“The staff were polite. However it said wait to be seated on a sign at the front and we waited for 5 minutes and were attended to so we sat ourselves down on a free table. The drinks weren’t really nice the coke I got tasted abit flat not sure if it’s from a pump or a can maybe not enough gas in the pump if so. My partner’s apple juice tasted like it came out of a carton and for £3 something for a half pint glass I think was abit spenny. The food was lovely tho and great presentation. Must say health and safety side of things as someone who works in this industry the young lass who was wearing slip on shoes with no backs just be careful when inspections come round and also the chef without an apron and actively itching his face where his beard is over the food as we could see due to sitting outside of the kitchen.”
