About Gibson's
On Church Street in Cromer, Gibson's is a bistro that centres its menu on a Sunday lunch built around roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, served with cauliflower cheese and a Scotch egg starter. The kitchen runs other plates alongside, including scallops as an entrée, chicken breast and sticky toffee pudding. The walls carry artwork on display, and tables can be booked. Dogs are welcomed inside, making the dining room usable for those walking in with a pet. The format covers coffee service and lunch through the week, sitting within a small seaside town setting on one of the central streets.

“We had an absolutely wonderful meal at Gibsons last night. The food was perfectly presented and cooked. The scallops entree were the best we’ve had ( we live in Australia and eat seafood a lot ). The service was also very good, very attentive. We would highly recommend people support this local special restaurant.”

“Ben coming to Cromer for 30 years and finally have found a lovely place to eat. Very welcoming with our two dogs. The food couldn’t have been nicer”

“So good we ate there twice in two days! Having travelled up for a family funeral my parents, brother and I happened upon this lovely restaurant! The staff were absolutely lovely! Very attentive and a great sense of humour! The menu has a wide choice of options (hence feeling we could go back the next day too) and the food was superbly cooked. We all thought they were the best restaurant meals we’d had in a very long time. My parents are in this area at least once a year and we will all definitely be returning! Thanks to all the staff and chefs for such a lovely experience at a difficult time for us. A lovely venue with some lovely artwork too! 😃”

“Great food, ambience and decor but I have to point out the grumpiest most surly and inattentive service. Warm white wine having to ask for cutlery, napkins etc with each course. On asking for cutlery after the starters had been placed on the table we were presented with fork’s unceremoniously dumped on the table. Er could we have a knife etc etc etc”

“Pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived. We were early, yet seated straight away at our booked table, and the staff were incredibly attentive throughout our visit. The menu was on the smaller side, but every dish was excellent, full of flavour and beautifully cooked. It was so good that we ended up having both a main course and a pudding. A really enjoyable experience and one we’d happily return for.”
