About Mary Jane's Fish Bar
On Garden Street near the seafront in Cromer, Mary Jane's Fish Bar is a fish and chips takeaway serving both walk-in counter orders and full table service in its adjoining restaurant. The kitchen cooks its fish and chips fresh to order, with a crunchy batter on the haddock and a generous portion size alongside. Customers can stop in for a quick takeaway, sit down for table service in the dining room, or settle on the seafront nearby with their meal. Dogs are welcome, and during the summer months a long queue is common at the counter. The menu focuses on the seaside staples of battered fish, chips and the usual accompaniments. Service runs through lunch and into the evening, and the seaside setting sits a short walk from the town's main beach.

“We decided at 11 am to drive over 100 miles to Mary janes for some good seaside Fish and chips and we were not dissapointed we recieved excellent service from staff understandable we had a short wait as the Fish and Chips were cooked fresh and they were excellent portions were extremely large pipi g hot with crunchy batter as you would expect at the seaside my boy thought they were so good we should come back tommorrow for more and judging by the long queue to the take away and a full restuarant at 4pm on a Sunday we were not the only ones to think so”
