Customer Review Summary
Pizzas are the draw reviewers raise most, called great, fresh and tasty, with one noting the Toni Pizza and another a 2 for 1 pizza deal on Monday. Close behind are the newer menu items, where one diner calls the Mac and Cheese with pastrami heavenly and praises the rainbow and caprese salads, while others single out the prawns and a lasagne made with beef brisket slow cooked overnight in beer. One reviewer rates the Foghorn IPA highly. Reviewers also describe a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, a lovely garden, and staff who work hard even on a very busy match day with the England game. Regular Thursday quiz nights are a tradition for one group who have attended for years, and the pub also suits parties. Criticism is limited but specific. One reviewer found the menu rather limited, and another left unhappy after a free drink voucher showed as already redeemed, finding the bar staff slow and unapologetic while trying to watch the football. Several praise servers who were friendly and quick, with food arriving quickly.
