“Top tasty lunch We popped in for a quick bite but ended up staying a while. Very relaxed, with a big varied menu. Light lunches to leisurely dinner options. Relaxed chilled music, so great atmosphere. I had really tasty fish finger sandwich with great crunchy chips and I'm guessing, homemade coleslaw. And an affagato to follow. Good food, good value for money. Really friendly staff and very helpful and attentive. Clean toilets. We will come back for an evening meal. Would recommend.”

“In from Kent, Ohio USA for an extended vacation. Girls at the Double Tree Cheltenham told us to go to The Royal. Great advice! Wonderful fish and chips, and the curry sauce was excellent. Beer and staff were 10/10. Good Saturday night crowd and a perfect place to eat and down a pint after a long day of trekking.”

“Nice place, good food and drink options with a decent sized beer garden. Great location near church and dog/kid friendly. I think dogs are confined to one side of the establishment, away from main dining area but I might be wrong There's some vague-ish demarcation between areas for dining or drinking, we were sat eating in the "grey" area in-between so endured noisy raucous folks congregating by us that marred our dining experience a bit.”

“Dog-friendly with great food and service! Plenty of outdoor seating and ample parking available, which made things really convenient. The food was delicious and the service was warm and welcoming. A perfect spot to relax—especially if you're bringing your dog along!”
