  “Went today for Mother’s Day had booked waited nearly two hours for main meals to come out to come out over cooked but cold … was not edible so got left real shame for special occasion. Service wasn’t great because they were under pressure.. meals were sent back and went else where will not be back unfortunately”

  “Once we had sat down and been given our menus we were told that something on the menu was no longer available. Server then took drink order and when brought our drink over one of the party noticed lipstick marks all over the glass . When this was pointed out to a member of staff they apologised and brought back replacement drink. We were then told more food was not on offer by the server pointing to the starter part of the menu . Two of my group had to change decisions , then once again server came over and said another choice from menu was gone. Now some main meals were unavailable. Three people in group now having to change order . At this point I would've left if it had not been a Saturday peak time so nowhere else would have available space. The meals took a long time to come and my meal was bland and overcooked , chips looked reheated. Not an ideal meal when already told most of menu unavailable. No reason given for this and on a Saturday, I feel very bad practice especially when we pre booked our table . Lots of customers turning away once staff spoke to them . Really disappointed with the whole experience”

  “Great to find this 5 minutes from the station during an enforced delay. I had Korean Chicken Tacos as a gluten-free option. It was quickly ready which was handy as I only had 45 minutes. The skin-on chips were wonderful too with sea salt. I loved the meal and can highly recommend it if you like sweet and savoury dishes. Excellent with my alcohol free beer! Will definitely return when I’m here again.”

  “Ordered the steak pie and the portion was rather small. Gave it its chance regardless but the beef was very dry inside and it had little flavour. For £17 was expecting better quality. May have been the decision of food on the day but wouldn’t be going back”

  “Food was uncooked, I ordered the Bacon double cheeseburger with fries, The fries were fine however the burger was undercooked and pink inside, When I pointed this out to the server she replied you should tell us how you want your burger cooked, and still charged me full price for a meal I refused to eat. I suggest you stay away, Unless you want to get ill, Was a decent place however the standard is below what is expected.”

  “We were a party of 7 that spend £200+ on food and drink, I Ordered the Xmas dinner for £19, the menu said it came with all the trimmings, but when I asked for cranberry sauce I was informed that would be £1.50 extra !! So not all the trimmings then, but for some reason a dish of pigs in blankets ( £7.50 ) came with cranberry sauce. Back to the dinner, roast potatoes were dry. Not impressed at all.”

  “First time in Carlisle and stumbled across this place. Hands down one of the nicest meals I have had in a long time. Staff were really great, first thing they asked was around dietary needs or allergies which was really great and the menu is fantastic too We went for the Fajitas and they were absolutely amazing. Full of taste and flavour, steak was excellent quality and cut and had a portion of salt and pepper chips which were some of the best salt and pepper chips I’ve ever had! Will definitely return when I am next in Carlisle”

  “Lovely place to go if you want a quiet, warm atmosphere and fantastic food! I had korean Butter Milk Chicken for my starter, Ramen Noodle Bowl for my main and Sticky Toffee Pudding for desert, i enjoyed every mouth full! 😋 service was excellent, there were no long waits for each course and when we needed anything staff were happy to help. I also recommend breakfast see photo's attached 😋”

  “Beautiful intimate dining or ideal for dinner with friends. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were amazing. Some of the best customer service we have ever received. The cocktails were expertly made and the food was generous portions. Highly recommended and we will be returning”
