Customer Review Summary
Green curry is the dish diners return to most, described as fresh, sweet with a little spice, and deep in flavour, and one reviewer strongly recommends the curry. Close behind is the pad thai, praised for its flavour and a touch of originality. Others single out the spicy crispy beef, called soft and crispy and consistent across three years of visits, along with fishcakes, jumbo baked prawns, dumplings, Singapore noodles, tom yum soup, a Thai style omelet and a starter platter. One reviewer calls the milk tea a must-try. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and welcoming, and several mention generous portions. The complaints are specific, though. One diner found a spicy dish about six times smaller than its menu photo, without the cucumber slices, and was told yes when asking whether the full price still applied. A longtime regular reports that a delivery order never arrived, and staff pointed them to Deliveroo for a refund.

“This used to be my favourite restaurant in town. For many years. Today, I ordered meals for me and my friends and the food has never arrived. They said “contact Deliveroo for a refund and if you want, you can order tomorrow again.” It’s a shame. It’s a local restaurant, that I really enjoyed taking my friends - I am a big fan of avoiding chains, but I can see now why it’s better to deal with chains .”

“Expectations vs Reality (6–0) You can measure it by weight, volume or mince pieces. However you do it, the reality was about six times smaller than what was pictured on the menu. I didn’t even mind missing the cucumber slices, which for a spicy dish are the kind of thing you look for. But the portion was so small a mouse would have gone back for seconds. It tasted nice, it was served in 2 mins. When asked if I have to pay this the full price she said “yes” and walked away.”

“I arrived Cambridge during Lunch time and stopped by this place for lunch with friends before exploring the city in the afternoon. They served the authentic Thai food with a friendly service. I love the Thai style omelet Tomyum soup and also the PadThai. Felt so much nostalgic to my home country a lot. Recommended.”
