  “I had an amazing meal recently! The team was super friendly and really attentive, especially Fiona, who made sure we had everything we needed. They were fantastic with my daughter's dairy intolerance, sharing great options without a fuss. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were spot on, and I couldn't fault the service or cleanliness. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!”

  “Mediocre food but nice chilled ambience. Okay lunch overall. The food was average. The avocado toast with eggs tasted fine but was quite small. An add-on of smoked salmon portion was just a table spoon. The shawarma however was really disappointing. Very rubbery and overcooked chicken. The ambience in the restaurant is very nice though. We had a lovely private table for two in a quiet corner. Overall we enjoyed having a little break in a chilled setting on a hot day.”

  “Went for breakfast and had the unlimited pancakes which were delicious! We only managed one serving each as they were very generous portions. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.”

  “We visited because of the great ratings and, overall, the food and service were very good. We ordered the bottomless pancakes and the mezze platter, and both were enjoyable. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was nice. However, I have a serious concern about hygiene. The teapot we were served had what appeared to be rust or corrosion inside and at the bottom. This is a health and safety issue that should not be overlooked. The restaurant also charges a 12.5% service charge, so I believe customers have the right to expect proper maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to food safety standards. This kind of issue should be taken seriously and addressed immediately. We chose this place because of its high ratings, and while the food and service were good, this experience was disappointing. I hope management takes action to ensure all equipment and serving items are clean and safe for customers.”

  “Bill's – Cambridge Proper English breakfast, solid burger Ultimate brunch burger – avocado smash, bacon, fried egg, thick non‑dry burger patty (though under‑salted), mustard mayo, balanced and satisfying. Salted chips on the side – good. Five stars. Whipped cream and berries pancake – quality and cooking uneven: some soft, some hard. Hot chocolate with whipped cream and chocolate stick – not too sweet and fulfilling. Bill's big brunch – classic all‑day breakfast, no bad surprises. No need to queue !”

  “Food was unfortunately underwhelming. Looked delicious but was dry and inedible at points. Waiter came to ask though, and I mentioned how the pancakes were dry as if left on a hotplate for sometime. He offered and got me a fresh plate which was better. He also deducted it off the bill. So I felt service was great, even though food a little disappointing. Also not overly impressed that my chai latte so tiny! Expected it to be a little larger for the price. So I would recommend Bills for the service but not for the quality of food.”

  “First time eating at Bill’s and I have heard good things about the place. My parents are visiting the UK for the very first time and I was hoping they would enjoy a full english breakfast meal. So after our meal, I asked how do they like the black pudding, they are surprised and told me it was not on the plate. I explained to the waiter that we have an item missing on our order (I understand we have finished our food, and not much we can show as “proof”). He simply just said “No, it should be on there.” And ended the conversation. Overall food is salty, pancake was good. And I won’t say the service was good. There are better options at this price range.”

  “Excellent brunch spot. The pancakes can lack filling but the staff are super good at getting you more. Coffee could be a little hotter so order Americao with hot milk if you like a high temperature. Lovely staff .”
