Customer Review Summary

Beef bulgogi is the dish reviewers name most, called delicious by one diner and standard but better than some meals they have had by another. Close behind are the japchae and seafood tofu jjigae from the lunch menu, praised for rich taste, along with the kimchi and soy chicken. Many call the food authentic, fresh and fairly priced, with generous portions and complimentary side dishes. The criticism is specific. One reviewer found the seafood pancake plain with small pieces of seafood, the chicken combo unconvincing and the beef bibimbap rice flavourless. Another said the hot stone bowls left rice burnt and stuck to the bottom with mushy rice on top. On service, reviewers mention dishes arriving at different times, a slow lunch rush, and servers who never checked on the table. One also notes tap water was removed from the online menu. Others find the staff friendly and accommodating, and one describes staff swapping a bowl of rice for a fresh salad on request.

“Great food and service with fair prices would definitely recommend if you are in the area, and food comes with complementary side dishes.”

“Kimchi was good, soy chicken was good, but the rice bowls we got were I'm hot stone bowls which made rice burn and stick to the bottom, with a layer of mushy rice just on top of the burnt layer. It was also so hot that it was hard to eat. The servers didn't come and ask of the food was OK at any point. They were pretty disengaged, busy looking at themselves in the mirror. It was ok but I wouldn't go again”

“Disclaimer: This isn't the Korean barbecue! I settled in to this restaurant. It is small, but looks quite cozy and is decorated nicely. The food is priced fairly and I ordered the bulgogi. The food is standard but I have definitely had worse.”

“We came across this restaurant while walking down the street and decided to stop in, and we were genuinely impressed. The quality of the flavours and ingredients was excellent, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. The beef bulgogi was absolutely delicious, and the soup was especially tasty. The staff were also very accommodating and kindly replaced the bowl of rice with a fresh salad at our request. The prices were very reasonable for such great quality. We will definitely be coming back!”

“The worst Korea food I had so far.The seafood pancake tastes so plain even worse because all with the flour .The seafood inside is small and not nice. The chicken combo is like Chicken from Iceland shop and it doesn’t look or similar to the traditional Korea restaurant .Really disappointed! The Beef bibimbap is really hard to swallow because the rice doesn’t have any flavor at all even with the sauce. A really bad experience.I will NOT recommend people to come here to spend their lovely time .By the way, they only accept cash .There is a small notice In a very small corner. No visible sign for inside or big enough to warn customers.”
