Customer Review Summary
Reviewers return mostly for the huge library of board games, often borrowed for a couple of hours with friends, a partner or kids, and several mention Forbidden Island and Forbidden Jungle. Close behind are the milkshakes and bubble tea, with Oreo and Biscoff milkshakes singled out by a family, plus nachos and pizza brought to the table so play continues without queuing. Staff are described as helpful and accommodating when someone is hunting for a particular game. A separate group comes for Pokemon and One Piece trading cards, calling the prices good and the restocks quick. The caveats are modest. One reviewer says the room gets quite noisy, and another found it hard to pick games by group size or experience level, suggesting categories by player count, length or complexity, or a browsable catalogue. Several say it got busy and suggest reserving a table, though walk-ins are possible. One reviewer booked two hours and ended up staying longer.

“Fabulous location, so many board games to choose from. Very much enjoyed the bubble tea whilst playing forbidden island and forbidden jungle. Well worth booking in advance although walk-ins are possible. Didn’t try the food but would be tempted to next time. Purchased a couple of games too. Will be back for sure! “Always a pleasure to visit, had a great time playing Pokemon. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Always my main stop to pick up Pokemon and One Piece.”

“I really enjoyed this place and I will be coming back! It can get quite noisy so if you're easily distracted then you'll struggle to concentrate but saying that, if you have good company you can easily zone out, focusing on them. My partner got nachos that were so simple but so fricking good! There's a good selection of drinks. Pricing was good and the selection of games was good.”

“Visited for the first time on a Saturday evening and had a great experience. The atmosphere was relaxed, the lighting was good, and staff checked us in and showed us to our reserved table. We booked for two people and I'd definitely recommend booking ahead as it was getting quite busy. The selection of games was impressive. As someone who isn't a hardcore board gamer, I preferred the quicker and simpler games, although it could be easier to find suitable games for different group sizes or experience levels. Categorising games by player count, game length or complexity, or having a catalogue to browse, could make it easier for newcomers. Food and drinks were brought to the table, which was convenient and meant we could keep playing without having to queue. We booked for two hours but ended up staying longer and had a really enjoyable evening. Overall, a great venue for a date, catching up with friends, or trying out new games. I'd happily visit again.”
