Quick info
About ORCHARD PARK COFFEE
ORCHARD PARK COFFEE works out of a converted shipping container coffee stand on Unwin Square in Orchard Park, North Cambridge, close to a Tesco and a couple of budget hotels around the corner. Orders are placed at the counter with no booking needed. The food runs from bacon rolls and ham and cheese croissants to home-made brownies in flavours such as Oreo and Galaxy, with fresh pastries and cakes alongside the coffee. Seating sits outside the unit, and a green area with seats directly behind it gives another spot for eating and drinking in the open air. A step-free entrance keeps the counter reachable for visitors with mobility needs, and dogs are welcome, with a bowl of water put out while you have your coffee. It trades Monday to Saturday during the day and closes on Sundays. The stand shares a business with a vape shop, so card payments appear as that shop on bank statements and may decline on age-restricted cards.

Customer Review Summary
Coffee is what brings people back to this converted shipping container stand, described repeatedly as fresh, genuinely good, and by one visitor the best they have tried in Cambridge. Close behind is the food: homemade brownies in Oreo and Galaxy flavours, a soft bacon roll with a black americano, ham and cheese croissants that one reviewer says smell as good as they taste, an iced mocha, fresh pastries and cakes, and, per an update, jacket potatoes. The welcome draws almost as much comment as the drinks, with several calling the staff lovely and friendly and noting the water bowl set out for dogs and the grassy area with seating behind the unit. Two notes temper this. One reviewer finds a large latte by no means cheap, though still preferable to the supermarket machine opposite, and another explains that the café shares a business with a vape shop, so it appears that way on bank statements and age restricted cards can decline. One morning visitor recalls being handed a tea from the owner's own staff stash when his preferred brand wasn't stocked.

“Only downside is this is a double business and linking with a vape shop. If your child has a restricted bank card it will decline due to age restrictions. It will show on your bank statement as a vape shop. Otherwise its a fantastic addition to orchard park.”
- The Lockie Family
“A gem of a “container coffee cafe” right in Orchard Park near the Tesco and budget hotels. Great coffee, friendly staff and a relaxed outdoor vibe. Despite being November a warm welcome and fresh coffee. Highly recommended.”

“Ultimately given that it is a converted shipping container, they are limited with what they can do, however the quality of what is being delivered by the staff here is really good. It is by no means cheap (£4 for a large late), but was a genuinely nice cup of coffee - i have paid more for a smaller coffee that was not as nice before). The staff are lovely too, and i would rather spend money somewhere like here than get a Costa from the machine in Tesco opposite.”

“This is such a special coffee place. Right in the heart of North Cambridge. Super friendly and a delicious menu. Highly recommend.”

“Iced mocha is amazing. Hard to go there on a diet as the ham and cheese croissants smell delicious (and they are) Also very friendly service by all staff”

How this listing is sourced
- Where the data comes from
- Name, address, hours, contact details, amenities, ratings and review counts come from the business's publicly available profile data — not from the owner and not from paid submissions.
- How it stays current
- Listings are re-checked in batches against their public profile, and anything reported as wrong is corrected at the source rather than patched on the page.
- How it is ranked
- Placement is never sold. Every business on the page is ordered and compared using the same public signals, so an owner cannot pay to move up.
