Customer Review Summary
Crepes draw repeated mention, though opinions split: several reviewers praise the fruit cocktail crepe and the "full works crepe" as delicious, while one reviewer found the caprese crepe flavorless and forgettable. Coffee comes up often as a strength, with one reviewer calling it the best iced latte they've had and another noting portions run larger than typical. Cheesecake and other cakes also get singled out for praise. Breakfast items like the pancake breakfast with crispy bacon and the prawn mayo and avocado ciabatta earn recommendations, and the garden seating area is mentioned favorably more than once. The main recurring complaint concerns cooked breakfast items: one reviewer described smoked salmon scrambled eggs served cold and chewy on one side with overdone, dry eggs on the other, alongside a so-so veggie burger from another visit. Staff are consistently described as friendly, and service as quick, with several reviewers saying they'd return or recommend the spot to others.

“I've lived in Cambridge for over 20 years and it's only because I had to go to pick up a parcel I came across this place. Absolutely lovely venue, staff and food. Prawn mayo & avocado ciabatta with a drink £9.50!!!! Wow”

“My wife and I finally stopped in for lunch after passing this place on our daily commute for the last few years. We ordered the veggie burger, caprese crepe, and coffee. Overall, we were fairly unimpressed with the food. The crepe was okay at best, but unfortunately lacked much flavor or care, which was disappointing as we both really enjoy crepes. I would say it was probably one of the less memorable crepes we’ve had in quite a while. The veggie burger was also just so so. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, the service was pleasant, the coffee was perfectly decent, and we appreciated that the café is dog friendly. Prices were also reasonable. That said, based on this visit, it’s unlikely we would return. We do appreciate the welcoming service and hope the food improves in the future.”

“Popped in by chance for a quick lunch bit and very pleasantly surprised. Not one of your chain high street cafes which means varied menu with lots of choice at reasonable price. Friendly, quick service, good traditional cafe.”
- Toby Lonnen
“Best iced latte I've ever had! Coffee is well made and a wide range of seating options with a garden in the back.”
