  “I’m absolutely obsessed with their breakfast! First time I ordered the scrambled eggs and feta on sourdough I was a bit reluctant because it seems like such a simple dish that I could make it at home, but it’s worth every penny!! The staff is always very kind and happy to serve you as well. Highly recommend it”

  “Was recommended Cofein so wanted to give it a go for breakfast! Was not disappointed - food was really good. I went for Avocado and Egg on sourdough and added scrambled eggs. My friend had Eggs and Feta on Croissant - also looked delish! Didn't have a coffee this time, but will be back again! 😃 Came back for a second visit and had the Buratta and Peaches.... SO good!!!”

  “Me and my husband went here every morning during our time in Cambridge because we loved it! The food is incredible and they have a great menu with a lot to choose from. All the staff we interacted with were lovely. Highly recommend”

  “Great experience. Our group of three came in at midday, and despite the cafe being relatively busy we still received excellent service from the team. The portions were very large, with each dish carrying lots of flavour. Food came to us within 10 minutes of ordering. Top selection of drinks — loved the coffee and bloody orange juice. Super fair prices, spent £57 total for a drink and large meal each. Overall I’d highly recommend, and will definitely be back.”

  “This is a fantastic spot for brunch, it is dog friendly and the food is delicious! It is the best sourdough I’ve had, and we were soo full afterwards. Would recommend the brunch with hummus option. We enjoyed the chai latte and coffee here as well.”

  “We visited COFEIN for breakfast on a Sunday morning and overall had a good experience. I would give it 7/10. The food was fresh, portions were generous and the prices felt fair for what we received. The warm food was particularly good. For my taste, though, some of the dishes had a little too much going on flavour-wise. Strong ingredients such as cheese can easily overpower the rest of the plate, so I think a little more balance would make the food even better. The coffee was okay, but personally I found the beans tasted slightly over-roasted, giving the coffee a somewhat burnt flavour. Of course, that comes down to individual taste. Service was friendly and the ladies were lovely, although it was quite slow. It was busy, which is understandable on a Sunday morning, but I do think the organisation could be improved. The main thing that let the experience down was the cleanliness of the tables. Even during busy periods, clearing and giving a table a quick wipe between customers makes a big difference. The café itself has a cosy atmosphere, although the layout feels a little cramped and could perhaps make better use of the available space. Overall, good fresh food, generous portions, fair prices and friendly staff, with a few areas that could easily be improved. We enjoyed our breakfast and I would happily recommend giving it a try. 7/10 from me.”

  “I’ve been here multiple times and the quality of the food and drinks are always great. The poached eggs are perfectly cooked, high quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The layout is quite small with tables close together but it’s always clean and decorated nicely with music playing. There isn’t any parking but there is on-street parking nearby which is pay and display and quite busy. I’ve visited a lot of cafes and this is definitely one of my favourites!”
