  “Excellent batch, good scrambled eggs with a proper sourdough and they are open at 8am on Sundays! Which made it for an excellent breakfast venue. Cinnamon buns are also good btw.”

  “This is my go to for a brunch in Cambridge. I believe the pancakes are the best choice and I added an extra sausage in my order. Also anything with eggs would be a solid option too. In general it's a very cool alternative almost like place, it can feel a bit overcrowded however due to the space. Nonetheless, service is good but sometimes a bit slow, but nothing to worry about. The food and drinks are fantastic and that's the most important. Also many actual vegan and gluten free options so everyone can feel included. This place organises events every so often especially during the evenings adding reasons to constantly come back. You can't go wrong with Hot Numbers and there is a reason it's so popular.”

  “We had a lovely breakfast at Hot Numbers Coffee. The food was really good, and the atmosphere was definitely one of the highlights,cosy, warm, and inviting, making it a lovely place to start the day. If I had one small suggestion, it would be the coffee. The taste wasn’t bad, but considering the overall quality of the food and the experience, I expected a little more from the coffee. It had a slightly over-roasted note that wasn’t quite to my taste. Overall, though, we had a really good experience and enjoyed our morning there. The cosy atmosphere and friendly setting definitely make it worth a visit.”

  “Great ambience, though I wasn’t surprised by the American-style concept. I asked for an espresso macchiato and the barista said they only serve drinks by size, using ounces. We sat at a table that was reserved for 1 pm; however, we arrived at 12:30 for a quick coffee. We were rather abruptly informed that we would have to leave a few minutes before 1 pm so they could prepare the table, even though it wasn’t fully cleaned when we sat down. We felt rushed and pressured to leave. The coffee drinks were also very expensive, £9.50 for a 3oz and “cold brew”.”

  “I'd like to post positively, but the "no tech on weekends" policy really messed my day up. I've been going to this place mid week to draw and sketch with my ipad on for background music and references. The good -charging ports around and big tables The bad -can't use them properly on weekends”

  “Had one of the best coffees at Hot Numbers Coffee ☕️, incredibly creamy and smooth, just perfect. The atmosphere is equally impressive, making it a great spot whether you’re looking to get some work done or just catch up with friends. Definitely a place I’d keep coming back to!”

  “After googling best brunches in Cambridge I came across this place and it did not disappoint. We booked in advance as I thought weekends could be incredibly busy. We ended up arriving half hour earlier but they were able to accommodate. The menu was extensive and the selection of coffees was great too. I had Turkish eggs and they were the nicest poached eggs I've ever had. The cakes all looked amazing so I bought a piece of chocolate cherry cake to take home and that was also delicious! Highly recommend this place whether you are sitting in or just grabbing a coffee and pastry to go.”

  “Love cinnamon bun from here, definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. I later returned for a sit down brunch and was satisfied. They have you order through Square at your table and the food comes to you. While they were busy, I didn’t wait too long. I got the Turkish eggs and a side of halloumi. They were good but missing a special flavor. I later tried to go up to the counter and get another cinnamon roll but the person behind the counter had her friends cut me after someone else started their own line so I left. Nevertheless, if you can get one, you should.”

  “The coffee is lovely 💝 It feels warm and welcoming here. It's really wonderful that there's no uncomfortable atmosphere making us feel like we have to leave, even though we sit here quite a while for our activity. Mornings are quieter and it's easier to find a seat. There's a washbasin inside.”

  “This is the best place in Cambridge for coffee and brunch. It’s absolutely knockout in terms of quality and choices. Thoroughly enjoyed the granola and Turkish eggs. The coffees are exceptional and retail bags well-priced. Great atmosphere and slick service. When it’s busy it can be noisy, but I only notice that because I’m usually solo.”
